The best lip balm out there!

5

My best friend told me to try this lip balm and at first I resisted because of the price.  It's like five bucks and I usually spent like 70 cents on my lip balm.  However, this is worth the five bucks.  It is fabulous lip balm.  It actually does what it is meant to do - it moisturizes your lips.  If you ski, you should so pick up this product.  It is great to smack on before you hit the slopes.  It really helps keep your lips from suffering from the winter elements.

Shea Butter for Sensitive Lips

5

Since I'm sensitive to lip balms containing potential irritants like menthol, peppermint, camphor, or eucalyptus, I fell in love when I stumbled upon **Wet Your Whistle Lip Balm**, one of the products in the **True Blue Spa** line of cosmetics. Wet Your Whistle is available at **Bath & Body Works stores** and I almost passed it by while looking for something else.  At the cash register, I saw a display of the product and decided to read through the ingredients list while I was waiting in line. The balm is primarily made with shea butter for moisturizing, aloe for its hydration and soothing properties, and beeswax which acts as a moisture seal.  The formula also contains vitamin E and Provitamin B5, safflower, almond, and coconut oils. I purchased a couple of tubes and tried it out right away.  The balm glides on easily and it has nice coverage.  You can definitely feel the creamy-waxy consistency when you apply it.  I find that I can use it once a day and that it doesn't dry out my lips like some of the medicated balms do.  I know I sound like an advertisement, but it really does seem that as the balm slowly fades, there is a residual moisture shield that keeps your lips feeling soft and quenched.  What I really like is that once the balm has worn off I don't feel the need to immediately reapply.  I haven't felt the need to overuse the balm which has happened to me with medicated products in the past. Since this product is heavier in feel than some other formulas, I generally use a very light touch if I am going to use it as a base before applying a coat of lipstick.  Most of the time, however, I just use the product alone.  I've read that many dermatologists believe you shouldn't use lip balm under any circumstance.  I guess I'm being a bit contrary to those considered opinions, but I have no complaints with this lip balm at all.  In fact, I highly recommend it.

I personally am picky to what kind of lip stuff I use. If it burns my lips the first time I use it I don't use it anymore and give it to my nieces who don't care if it burns or not they are just happy to have it. I tryed this and with living in alaska the winters are hard on my lips and this keeps them nice and soft. So nice and when you get kissed you feel good about it. Instead of feeling like crap because your lips aren't the soft they should be. I bought many of them and half lost about the same amount. They work great and I plan on getting them for many people at christmas time. Even if your not a girlie girl you should still try it. I like my out doors and I still keep it with me, the reason why i lost so many, but it was worth so much to have when your lips start hurting where ever you are! I am sure many of you out there can agree on that one. So if you have a bath and body works around you should try any of their lip stuff out if you haven't already!

There are so many lip balms out on the market and a lot of them work very well, this included. The Bath and Body Works Wet Your Whistle Lip Balm is pretty amazing. I can really feel a differencei n my lips. After using this product, my lips felt so moisturized and hydrated. It smells really great and goes on very smooth. The best thing about is that it is sheer but still looks a little glossy when you put it on. It is great to use with other products as well such as lipstick. I love to use lip balm underneath lip sticks because it makes the lip stick color look more glossy and less bold. They are a pretty good price and Bath and Body Works usually has great deals going on so I would not be surprised if this were on sale. It lasts for quite a while so it is a pretty good bargain. Although products like Burt's Bee's provide a nice pepperiment scent, that scent can sometimes be a little nauseating which is why I like to switch it up.
