Bath & Body Works Temptations Glittering Gumdrop 3-in-1 Body Wash, Bubble Bath, & Shampoo Review

The Verdict:  I really like this 3-in-1 from Bath & Body Works.  The scent is very unique and fun for the holiday season.

Just the Facts:  Glittering Gumdrop is one of the new body wash scents in Bath & Body Works' Holiday Temptaions line.  The gel is a really nice muted purple color but it is not shimmery or glittery as the name implies so glitter haters need not worry.  It comes in a 4 ounce bottle which sells for about $5 and a 16 ounce bottle which is $12.  I got the big bottle which should last until spring due to the fact that I've got 900 other soaps and body washes in my shower and I use something different every day. 

Although I'd like to say that the best part about this product is the awesome purple color (I love purple), it's the scent that is best.  Glittering Gumdrop smells just like gumdrops. More specifically, the spicy gum drops.  It smells sweet and spicy at the same time which is a very unique scent.  It also cleanses really well and works up into a mass of purple lather when applied to my shower pouf. 

As these types of products don't usually do well as shampoo or bubble bath I didn't waste my time, energy, or the product by using it in this way and just stuck to washing with it.  It rinses away easily and doesn't dry out my skin or make me itch or anything.  I only wish the scent lingered a bit on my skin but it does not.  

Star Power:  ****4 stars****  This one smells really good and the scent is very unique.  The lovely purple color is enjoyable as well.  Deducted one star because it is not a good shampoo and only as decent bubble bath.
