Bath & Body Works Temptations Cinnamon Bun Heaven 3-in-1 Body Wash, Bubble Bath, & Shampoo —

The Verdict:  Temptations Cinnamon Bun Heaven is not bad.   But don't expect it to smell like actual cinnamon buns with real cinnamon and real sugar.

Just the Facts:  Cinnamon Bun Heaven is a 3-in-1 that is part of the Temptations line of products available at Bath & Body Works.  It is a body wash, bubble bath, and shampoo all in one.  The gel is extremely light tan in color and moderately thick.  I have only seen this scent in the 16 ounce size which sells in stores and online for $12.  They do sometimes go on sale so you might find it cheaper as the fall and winter seasons wear on.

I am very into scent when I'm in the shower or bath.  I especially love fruit and baked goods scents and prefer them to smell like the real thing.  I've tried 3-in-1 products in red velvet cake scent, cherry pie, scent, apple scent, and more that all smell really good so I had high hopes for Cinnamon Bun Heaven.  Unfortunately it did not deliver.  While this product does create a thick mass of lather and it cleanses and rinses well, it just does not smell like I was hoping it would.  It's partly my own fault for ordering it online without smelling it first.  Had I done that I would have realized immediately that the scent is not like real cinnamon buns but more like cinnamon Red Hots or cinnamon gum.  I was expecting a real cinnamon, sugar, and bread scent, not the sickly sweet scent of cinnamon candy.  Yuck.

I used Cinnamon Bun Heaven once as a bubble bath and it performed OK; not huge masses of bubbles but not horrible either.  These products do not typically perform well as shampoos so I did not bother to try it in that capacity, mostly because I did not want my hair to have that fake cinnamon scent lingering on it.

Star Power:  ****3 stars****  While Cinnamon Bun Heaven is not totally disgusting, it does not smell liked baked cinnamon buns.  Some may like the scent but I do not.  Oddly enough my husband liked it and took it off my hands so I didn't have to throw it out.  Minus two stars for scent and because it is not a good shampoo and only a decent bubble bath.

Thanks for the heads up. I have to laugh that your husband took it off your hands. Mine can't stand anything with a fragrance. Jo

Hey, I'm glad you pointed out the difference. I'm big on the cinnamon buns smell like they have at Cinnabuns. Not so much on the candy smell. Oh well, you can't have everything! ;>
