I actually find this to be the case with most bbw products - the scent is super strong and lasts long but the lotion itself doesn't moisturize well. I find that I have to keep applying very frequently to actually get the moisture. But I do really like the scent so I normally end up using it mostly for the scent and using another lotion for the actual effective moisturizing effect. Scent Scent is great! The scents are strong and also lasts long. I like the scent a lot. So I end up applying mostly like a perfume than a lotion. Absorption Not too bad but feels like it dries up pretty quickly. Even after half an hour I feel like I need to apply another time. Effectiveness Not very good at moisturizing unless you apply frequently. I would not recommend for very dry skin. If you use it mostly for the scent then you can use it as hand cream but I wouldn't use it for the face or places where you need more moisture.

This is and will probably always be my favorite scent from Bath and Body Works. It's incredible and the products are amazing from the lotions and creams to the sprays and perfumes and down to the body washes. I absolutely love it. Scent The scent is the best. It has a mix of french mimosa petals, asian syringa flower, tangerine, and tenufolia orchid. Not too much of any one certain ingredient. It smells like light beautiful flowers with just a mix of something else that is the bomb. Absorption The lotion moisturizes well. It absorbs quick and easy. You don't have to put too much on to have your skin feeling good and the scent sticks. Effectiveness I never used this lotion to treat dry skin or any heavier skin problems that an actual medicated cream may do. I use it for scent and to moisturize my skin whenever i put it on. For that it does well. I don't have to constantly keep applying it to my body over and over just for my skin to stay moisturized. So overall I'd say it is effective for it's use. I think the body cream works better because it's thicker. But this lotion isn't cheap in consistency so it's good too.

This is a nice lotion that moisturizes my skin quite nicely, but what I like best is the very interesting sweet floral fragrance. It makes a difference in my daily life by being an indulgence that is worth every penny. This particular fragrance has a special purpose for me. I make sure and use this lotion on my chest when going out with my husband. This aroma makes me feel pretty and sexy, and he notices. Scent This is really beautiful. It smells like a garden where butterflies would love to visit. I find it clean and flowery, and it lingers for several hours on my skin. It makes me feel feminine and pretty. People notice the smell and take the time to tell me how nice I smell, which makes me feel very special. Absorption It soaks into my skin and leaves me smelling feminine, and my skin is softer and much less dry. I use it on my entire body, although more sparingly on the face except for the little spot on the outside corners of my eyes where creases like to form. I look at my skin under the lights and see a subtle healthy shine. Effectiveness I have seen an improvement by seeing fewer or less deep skin creases. I run my finger over the creases by my eyes and they feel flatter, and the areas where my arm crease and are dry have fewer creases and instead have a radiant shine. I also notice that this effect lasts all day without a reapplication.

I have tried so many different scents from Bath and Body Works and Butterfly Flower is one of my favorites! It is difficult to describe, it has a little bit of floral accent, but also smells fruity. Overall it is a very subtle, feminine, and light scent which suits me just fine. It does not cause me headaches as many other scented lotions either. Very moisturizing and soothing to the skin. If I use this as a hand lotion I find that I need a few coats for it to really work, but I have extremely dry hands. As a body lotion though, I am very satisfied! It does not cause irritation and will work for sensitive skin which I have as well. The price is wonderful, these lotions are often on sale in both the large size and the mini or travel size. Bath and Body Works produces high quality scents and skin care products and I think for what you get, the price can not be beat. Highly recommended if you are looking for a light scented lotion with a feminine fruity slash floral yet not overpowering smell.

This lotion is a very nice product and smells like a spring flower & is a very pretty color. It is a lovely lotion,but the scent is just a little strong for me and it makes me sneeze,but I still love it and do use it occasionally. Scent It really does have a lovely fragrance,but since I do have some allergies,it is a bit strong for me and sometimes it makes me sneeze. I would still recommend it and still enjoy using it as I do love most products by Bath and Body Work. We don't have a Bath and Body Works store here so My dear sweet sister sends me many of the wonderful products as gifts and I can also order them online. Absorption This lotion does absorb into the skin very well and quickly and really helps my skin when it gets real dry in the cold winter season. Effectiveness It works very well and is very effective. I have many Bath and Body Works products and this is among the very nice girly girl ones that I do enjoy using.

When your walking through a field or a yard and you get hit with a smell of sweet flowers that is sweet enough to give you a headache, that is what this lotion smells like. Way to sweet. Smells almost like a little girls play lotion. Like she wold use if she were playing dress up. I think it is okay for a little girl. Scent Way to sweet. I smelled the lotion and it was sweet but I bought it anyway because a lot of lotions that I buy smell strong in the bottle but they usually do not smell like that when you put them on. SO I applied the lotion and I was wrong. It was just as strong as it was in the bottle and my head instantly started hurting. I had to take a shower to get the smell off. I could not deal with it anymore. Absorption The absorption was great. The lotion is not greasy or oily. soaks in fast and leaves skin in great condition. I think it is a great product I just do not like the smell. Effectiveness Great for any dry skin all year long if you can get past the smell.

Bath and Body Works Butterfly Flower Body Lotion is fairly pleasant! As far as the product line for this scent goes...I love the shower gel, I like the lotion, and I hate the fragrance mist. The lotion is pretty nice. It's kind of a nice scent to dab on before you get into bed for the night as it is sort of relaxing and sweet. Although it is not my ultimate favorite it is a fairly decent lotion with a pretty pleasant scent. I would definitely recommend this line to others. They only thing that I really have noticed about Bath and Body Works products lately is the excessive amount of ingredients that they put into their lotions including red number 40 and yellow number 5. I am definitely not a fan of these ingredients and think it is highly unnecessary that they put these into their lotions. I would definitely not eat these ingredients in my food, so why would I let them absorb into my skin? I like the price tag over all, but it is not a high quality product like other lotions.

This lotion is one of the best, and so is the scent!  The scent is a good fruity floral, sort of a nectarine and honeysuckle, to my nose.  It's perfect for smelling like spring time any time of the year.  It goes on super smooth, and I actually find that it's easy to put a LOT of it on and I go through the bottle pretty fast. It's pretty moisturizing, but I don't think it lasts all day. I still find that I have dry elbows/knees/hands before the day is over. I also find that the scent lasts and lasts, long after the moisturizing effects have worn off, so it's kind of a trade-off. I suppose you could layer the body cream first, then use this lotion, and get the best of both worlds. That's what they tell you at the store, at least.  Pretty good trick to get you to buy more stuff, if you ask me!  This can be expensive, so I wait for good sales and sign up for coupons to be emailed to me.  That way, I stock up a few times a year and save a little bit of money.

I recently purchased a small travel bottle to try out the new scent and boy I just can't get enough! The smell keeps me wonder what goes into it.  I asked people in the house to identify but they got no clue.  I guess there's a bit of orchid, the base is definitely ripen banana and maybe some other notes.  Who would have thought BBW would make banana smell so delightful. The scent is light but lingers even after wash. The liquid feels rich and moist, keeps my hand supple. I also bought the full size for myself and as gifts for my friends. They love it too!! This is one of my favorite scents this season! I also try out the shower gel and its just as good as the lotion. I could go on and on praising these products but the final thought is BBW always creates great fragrance body care. One other thing I love is the White Tea Ginger lotion.  It is absolutely heavenly after slashing the lotion on. I hope they keep making it!

I recently got the Bath and Body Works Butterfly Flower Body Lotion as a Christmas gift from a friend. What I love about it is that it has a silky feel after you apply it and it smells great. The funny thing about it is that it does't exactly just smell like butterfly flowers but it has an underlying lavender smell too. Nonetheless, I love it. It came in a 8 ounce bottle and it is going to last me quite a while as well as the other body lotions that I received from other friends. Another positive part to this product is that the scent is lasting. At first, I thought is would disappear after a while and definitely will be gone after I wash my hands. To my surprise, the scent remained even after washing my hands. Also, the fragrance isn't intoxicating to the point where I get dizzy, but it is a light and soft smell that I like. It also contains vitamin e, jojoba, and shea butter. It works great and makes my skin smooth and silky.
