"Hi, my name is Darcy and I'm a lip gloss addict." Bath and Body Works does nothing to help me get into lipgloss recovery, especially when they have such a great line of lip glosses. Liplicious Lip Gloss comes in a variety of colors and flavors that will hook everybody out there! My current collection includes Pineapple Juice, Frozen Blackberry, and Berry Blush. Typically, you can get 3 for $15 or Buy Two, Get One Free deals. Each tube contains .47 oz. of gloss.
The colored glosses look either really dark or bright in the tubes, but once applied, they complement lips and look very natural. They give medium coverage, unlike the clear glosses (Limeade and Pineapple Juice), which are completely sheer but have a sparkle to them. I use my Pineapple Juice gloss when I'm going for a light look or to add just a dot to the center of my bottom lip for some added volume and shine. All the flavors contain Vitamin E and jojoba oil to smooth dry lips. As far as flavor, Liplicious Lip Gloss smells stronger than it tastes, and both are great! Each gloss is named after some kind of food or drink, from Fruit Punch to Cotton Candy to Cranberry Cocktail...yummy! There were a few options that smelled a little funky, but by and large, most of them live up to the liplicious name.
This gloss goes on smoothly and can feel a little gloppy if you put too much on. Fortunately, the tube has a slanted applicator, so you are in control over how much is squeezed out and can smooth it around on your lips with minimal mess. A word of caution: If you have a lot of creases around your lips, the colored glosses will "bleed," so a light application of the gloss or lip liner will make your lips look a lot neater. As far as staying power, Liplicious Lip Gloss does fairly well. During an average work day, I apply it in the morning when I go into the office, after lunch, and usually once more during the mid-afternoon.
Overall, this is a great gloss, regardless of which one you buy, with a delicious scent and taste. Plus, you can try Liplicious Lip Gloss out in a Bath and Body Works store before you buy, so you're guaranteed to find a favorite flavor and color. If you're one of my fellow lip gloss junkies, this is definitely one that will feed your addiction!
