About Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Body Lotion Energy - Mandarin Lime

This lotion is from Bath & Body Works' aromatherapy line. They have Energize (which this scent is), Relax, Sensuality, and Sleep fragrance mixtures. This lotion comes in a 6.5 ounce bottle and costs $13.00. Usually there is a sale, though, and it is less expensive. It comes in a slim brown glass bottle with a pump top. The lotion has natural soybean oil in it as well as glycerin. One nourishes the skin which the other attracts moisture to it. The lotion is creamy and smooth and glides onto my body easily. The scent is slightly more mandarin then lime but both scents are clearly there. It's a lighter lotion that I can apply all over and not wait for it to absorb. It is very refreshing and leaves my skin silky and smooth without being greasy. The scent is from essential oils and other natural fragrances so it is a true scent, not a fake mandarin or lime scent. That is what I like most about the whole aromatherapy line. The scents are so true and natural.

The scent lasts for a long time on my body but is subtle. I can wear colognes or perfumes with it without clashing but I prefer to layer the products and go natural with just the mandarin lime scent as my fragrance. As well, the hydration lasts for hours. Although this isn't thick like body butter, it hydrates well and holds in moisture so my skin is soft to the touch and feels great. I like the whole aromatherapy line but my favorite is the Energize line which includes bubble bath, sugar scrub, fragrance oil, shampoo and conditioner, hand cream, and energy soak. I am waiting for the body spray to make an appearance because that would be the last of what I need in the line.

My Viewpoint

This lotion smells wonderful and softens skin without greasiness. I love fragrance and this fragrance is really awesome and natural. I wish they made body butter in this scent but still, I enjoy this lotion and all the Energize products. 4 stars.
