After yet another form letter from B&N that does not fully address my questions or concerns I feel compelled to post a Viewpoints Review.   I believe that if B&N had actually read my emails or paid attention to what I was saying when I called them on the telephone, my simple… read full review »

I bought most of my Christmas presents on-line this year, mainly because my nerve disease was fired up, kept me from shopping outside.. I am a Barnes and Noble member, and knew that I could use their online services along with (another program I'm attached to) to save money, and knew of some presents for at least 4 members of my family I could buy from Barnes & Noble.. So I got on-line, and immediately found 2 books my dad would enjoy, 2 books my daughter would enjoy, 1 book, and 1 daily calendar that has some little funny sayings on it for my husband. They had a promotion going, that if… read full review »

Barnesandnoble.com is a great place to go if you are into books and reading. If you are a member, which costs $25 a year, you save a minimum of 10% off any item you buy. If you are an avid reader and book buyer, this will save you money. —   You can find out book reviews, see what is newly released and see what books won the National Book Award, or any other prize or list you can think of. The site also has video snippets of authors talking about their books. —   Barnesandnoble.com also has many online book clubs and chats with authors. There is quite a vibrant book… read full review »

Went to buy a book on CD for my parents for Christmas- early November.  Ordered from Barnes and Noble on line because they had a good price and I like thier stores.  It didn't say that the book on CD was out of stock so I assumed that it would be delivered within a couple of weeks.  A couple of weeks go by, nothing.  No email saying "sorry, it's out of stock"  or "we're behind on our shipping" until way after the expected arrival date- about a week after.  I recieve an email notifing my that my order is currently out of stock and if I would like to wait another… read full review »

I have found Barnes and Noble Book Store to be the best book store i have ever been to .In person or on-line.Very often on-line i will go to their web site and check out thier used and out of print section. The savings on books is unbeilevable.I am a V.C. Andrews nut. Most of the new books at Barnes and Noble are 7.99 plus shipping if under 25.00.Used i get great condition books for 1.99 plus shipping coming to a total of 5.88 . Cant get better value than that. If there is a book seires you like put in title and author in the used book section and if you are willing to look throught it… read full review »

A serious book-lover, married to an avid reader, we buy a lot of books in my house. I always check the big sites (Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and occasionally a few others) and purchase our books wherever they are cheapest overall, including shipping, etc. I wait to purchase in a group of $25 or more so I get free shipping. I've been a B&N Member for a few years now. It costs about $30 for a year, and the discounts easily pay for themselves. Don't forget to use your member card not only on books and other items online, but books in the store, gifts and cards in the store, and even in the store… read full review »

I read, A LOT!  My favorites?  The list would be shorter of what I don't read! — B & N is my favorite bookstore, both online and f2f shopping.  Combine that with the MyPoints rewards, and my being a bargain shopper really pays off. A recent online order came with an error, missing 2 books, with 2 I had not ordered.  Five minutes later customer service had me sorted out, my books were on the way, and they sent me a label to return the others free of charge.  She never questioned me, was incredible polite and pleasant, and turned what… read full review »

Barnes and Noble is definitely my favorite book store chain, and I love to go in and grab a cup of hot chocolate while I browse through books and magazines.  The online store is great as well, and I have found it to be a wonderful source for book recommendations.  From the "customers who bought this also bought.." sections, to actual book lists and clubs, I have often come to the site just for ideas of what to read next.  The opportunity to buy used books is also a perk, as it helps me to stay to a much tighter budget than regular list prices… read full review »

Barnes and Noble is the best.  I had a problem entering a coupon online and after a lttle trouble, was able to get a supervisor who fixed it.  They have anything you want. —  Although I've used other online book stores, I always use B & N as my favorite.  They have a great return policy too. — The stores are nice to go to.  If I can I like to go there to shop, but for convenience I use online.  Try this store for college textbooks too.  They can be cheaper than discount dealers, especially with free shipping. —… read full review »

My daughter received duplicate books for her birthday and Christmas and when we went o return them B&N was very gracious about giving her an in store credit.  We always shop there whether on-line or in store.  The employees and the customer service for on-line orders are always helpful.  If there is ever a problem with an order, they straighten it out right away! —  DEFINETLY RECOMMEND!!! —… read full review »

My idea of an evening out is a trip to Barnes and Noble for a cup of coffee and a stack of books. My second best is shopping B&N on line. I use them for gift giving and researching books I think I may like. The clearance section is super with many different genres and a wide range of prices. I've never had any problems when ordering books and give them thumbs up for prompt service and products arriving in great… read full review »

I love this place.  I take my kids there and my little one can play with the train set they have in the childrens area while me and my older one can read and everyone is happy.  I love the bargan section where books are cheap.  The prices on the other books could definently be a little lower but overall I love this… read full review »

It is a good book store, but you have to be a member to enjoy discounts, and that is not work for me. I think it is very good on line, and you can use it as Amazon to find bargains, but still the prices (at least, in my case, but try it please) were too high.… read full review »
