I realize that everyone knows about Barnes & Noble and their wonderful website, BN.com -- but you may not be aware that  -- in addition to many great juvenile books -- this bookseller offers for sale 237 coloring books, most of them for under five dollars!  Here are coloring books of every kind and...

Went to buy a book on CD for my parents for Christmas- early November.  Ordered from Barnes and Noble on line because they had a good price and I like thier stores.  It didn't say that the book on CD was out of stock so I assumed that it would be delivered within a couple of weeks.  A couple of weeks... review »

Barnesandnoble.com is an excellent, and convenient way to shop for books, DVDs, CDs or whatever you are looking for in the way of entertainment. The selection is good and prices are competitive, order $25.00 or more and the shipping is free and fast. I live in Houston but UPS or the PO will deliver my order in three days. But the best thing is, when you shop through iGive.com Barnes&Noble will make a donation to the charity of your choosing, national or local.

I bought most of my Christmas presents on-line this year, mainly because my nerve disease was fired up, kept me from shopping outside.. I am a Barnes and Noble member, and knew that I could use their online services along with (another program I'm attached to) to save money, and knew of some presents for at least 4 members of my family I could buy from Barnes & Noble.. So I got on-line, and immediately found 2 books my dad would enjoy, 2 books my daughter would enjoy, 1 book, and 1 daily calendar that has some little funny sayings on it for my husband. They had a promotion going, that if you spent...

Barnes&noble.com is a good site for buying books.  I used it recently to buy the entire series of Indiana Jones paperback books as a gift for my sister.  After a LOT of searching in local stores and online for the books, I ordered at barnes&noble's site.

First of all, the site's selection of books seemed to be pretty large.  The books I was looking for have been hard to find, so the same site having the entire series was really convenient.

The site was fairly easy to navigate.  The cart system was easy to use.  One of the things I liked best was that they let you choose Paypal as a payment...

I have been a barnes and noble member ever since I first found out about the membership program (10% off almost everything and members-only coupons!!).  Its only $25, and I save much more from the 10%+ that I get from their coupons and member discounts on my textbooks every year.   Right now they're even offering free shipping on orders with a $10 minimum.
I like going to the physical store too and just having a cup of coffee. I really like the cozy atmosphere and how they dont shoo you away for flipping through magazines and such (well, i DID buy a $5 cup of coffee... granted, it was a venti...

Barnesandnoble.com is a great place to go if you are into books and reading. If you are a member, which costs $25 a year, you save a minimum of 10% off any item you buy. If you are an avid reader and book buyer, this will save you money.

You can find out book reviews, see what is newly released and see what books won the National Book Award, or any other prize or list you can think of. The site also has video snippets of authors talking about their books.

Barnesandnoble.com also has many online book clubs and chats with authors. There is quite a vibrant book chat area online. Of course they...

I have to say that Barnes and Noble online know and enforce what customer service menas.  Every time I have ever had a problem and sent an e-mail describing the porblem, they have responded to my inquiries w/in a 24 hour period.  The problem is always resolved on the first try.  I have tried to fix problems trhough e-mail with other sites to no avail.  You can tell  that B & N have live people who read the inquiries and not an automated message.  I would highly reccommend B & N to others just for the cusatomer service if nothing else !!!   GREAT COMPANY !!!

After yet another form letter from B&N that does not fully address my questions or concerns I feel compelled to post a Viewpoints Review.   I believe that if B&N had actually read my emails or paid attention to what I was saying when I called them on the telephone, my simple single book order could have been resolved.  But no, they chose to believe that we reused to sign for the book when it was brought to our door - a total fabrication on the part of their subcontracted delivery service in Manhattan, Lasership.

I proposed several workarounds to address the delivery of my book order but...

Barnes & Noble did not honor their commitments to me.  Their Customer Service representative offered no service to me and seemed focused merely on getting me off the phone.

On 18 December I ordered two "in stock" items from the Barnes & Noble website.  Because the items were in stock, the site advertised shipping within 24 hours and free 3-day delivery.  It specifically advertised that in-stock items would be delivered before Christmas.

A few hours later I received an e-mail confirming my order, advising me that the order had been "scheduled to ship," and confirming that it was being shipped...

I have been a barnes and noble shopper for many years. I like to go there and buy books, then sit and read them.  I love that they also offer free WI Fi so i can sit and do work while enjoying the atmosphere.

The selection of books at Barnes and Noble can't be beat.  They have everything from how to plan a wedding to kids books.  I find all that i need in one store.

My local barnes and noble also has a small food store so that i can get drinks and some food while enjoying my books or using the Wi Fi.

On top of all that they also have game nights.  It is a great place to go to make new friends...

I went online to order some last minute Christmas gifts for my kids and went to BarnesandNoble.com because a few of the gifts were books.  They advertised on their site that they guaranteed shipping by Christmas with a free upgrade to 2 day shipping.  I placed my order fully expecting to get my order before Christmas.  On the day before Christmas I received an email from bandn.com saying that our order would be received by December 26.  Pretty upset, I called their customer service and was told that my whole order (8 items) could not be shipped because ONE item was a "2 to 3 day ship" item. ... review »

My head has become so big because of all the reading I do in Barnes and Noble... and its still growing but I am proud of all the knowledge I am acquiring because of it. This is a good place to spend a quiet evening time reading a good book and the book whisperers who work there are awesome. Its just amazing how you say the title or the author of a book and they zoom with ease to the section where the book is located and hand you the book. I sometimes want to quiz them to see if they will miss it but I am sure they won't. They have plenty of couches and chairs where people can sit and browse through...

Barnes and Noble.com is a great place to find, purchase and find what's new that coming out in bookstores. The site is full of information and you can read discriptions of the books before you even buy them. You can buy them at a discount from used bookstores they have listed. They are great with customer service, when you have a problem you can call and talk to a real person.

They really do have the best prices on thier books. You can sign up to become a member and save even more with them. The more you buy the better a discount you will get. You can even get free shipping on your books when you...

I have found Barnes and Noble Book Store to be the best book store i have ever been to .In person or on-line.Very often on-line i will go to their web site and check out thier used and out of print section. The savings on books is unbeilevable.I am a V.C. Andrews nut. Most of the new books at Barnes and Noble are 7.99 plus shipping if under 25.00.Used i get great condition books for 1.99 plus shipping coming to a total of 5.88 . Cant get better value than that. If there is a book seires you like put in title and author in the used book section and if you are willing to look throught it carefully... review »
