I realize that everyone knows about Barnes & Noble and their wonderful website, BN.com -- but you may not be aware that  -- in addition to many great juvenile books -- this bookseller offers for sale 237 coloring books, most of them for under five dollars!  Here are coloring books of every kind and for every age and level of skill.  Some of them appear to be very challenging but there is something here for everyone including some that may not be available in stores.

In addition, Barnes & Noble also offers 466 paper doll cut-out books for all skill levels.  I can't describe how beautiful some of these are and reasonably priced as well.

If you have Crayola aficianados or enthusiastic snippers in your life and a plethora of special occasions on the horizon, it might be a good idea to stock up now as any order of $25 or more earns free shipping.  Leave us not forget that accessing Barnes & Noble through MyPoints will also earn ten points for each dollar spent.

I have bought my toddler several coloring books from Barnes & Noble. I even bought me some-Winnie the Pooh. I enjoyed your review. Have a great time on your Florida vacation!!!

I love B & N but I must say I love the feel of books and though I often buy books online more often than not they are used. New book I like to touch:)

I love any excuse to play with kids and their coloring books. I never thought to just buy one for my own pleasure. LOL

Thanks Anna. I'm checking out the website right now.

You're right - I didn't know about the coloring books! :>

I didn't know there was a source for so many paper dolls. With three grand daughters that is good to know!

AHA! Another closet colorer! One of the few times I was out of work back in 1976-1977, I helped retain my sanity by coloring this big huge poster that my aunt gave me. It was all about dolls (which I collect) and there was a package of markers to go with it. I love coloring but haven't done it in a while. You might like some of these books for yourself -- some of them are very complicated and challenging!

No kidding, JoyJoy, you're going to have fun just looking through the site at those things. B&N is a wonderful site!

Let us not forget about MyPoints of course! :) This is an excellent idea... thank you Anna! I might buy some for gifts... then again... I might buy some for my closet coloring book obsession. ;)

I shop frequently at barnesandnoble.com but I didn't know about the coloring books or paper dolls so I'm sure other people didn't either. You may have helped someone who needs gifts and doesn't know where to find them online.
