There is no disputing the fact that a diet full of grilled or baked fish has enormous health benefits. It is helpful in lowering cholesterol, and lowering one's risk of heart disease, among other things. Omega 3 fatty acids, which fish are full of, are largely responsible for these benefits. Unfortunately, I am not a big fish eater. I just don't like the taste of most fish, and the smell bothers me even more. This means that I desperately need to supplement my diet with fish oil. Due to this, I have taken Barleans Fish Oil throughout the years. It helps to ensure that I get enough of those Omega 3 fatty acids, in my diet. Barlean's Fish Oil really is a superior product in the supplement market. I have taken fish oil for years, mostly for joint and circulation related health reasons. Purchasing mercury-free marked products on sale at the drugstore, I believed that as long as it was mercury-free, there was really no difference between products, and even better for it to be on sale. Some weeks ago, I saw online that Barlean's company was offering free samples, so I signed up to try their Fish Oil and a few other products, which arrived right away. I took the sample of fish oil in the evening and was very pleased with its positive effect on my digestive system, noticeable with the first dosage. I attribute this noticeably different, positive effect to the higher percentage of Omega-3s, -6s, and 9s, that are mentioned on the package, as well as a higher caliber of fish, with oil from salmon or cod liver, instead of anchovy or sardine. Barlean's Fish Oil showed me that there really are differences between fish oil products, other than whether or not they contain mercury, and that these differences can make a noticeable difference in how my body feels.

 I was introduced to  Barlean's fish oil products by a helpful Health food sales clerk when I told him I could not find any fish oil products in conventional stores  with out Soy! as one of the ingredients.    I'm allergic to soy..and was very elated to discover that he had a product/s that was Soy free  ....another Plus is the fact that it is  organic and free of  PCB's!            I feel healthier  and safer taking this product!

I have tried many fish oils and Barlean's is by far the best. The capsules are easy to swallow and the orange flavor makes it even easier. There are absolutely no fishy burps with these capsules. They are also organic and all natural! They are a bit pricey but the quality makes it SO worth it! I've taken these for about 5 years-- fish oils is just so good for you!
