I will be combining products when that makes sense in my reviews.  My first review is of the Bare Minerals Foundation. I got two colors, both of which have an SPF of 15. The colors are medium and medium beige. The two allows me to mix them together or to use the lighter shade or darker shade depending on how much coverage I want. I have a fair complexion and both work well for me.

The Verdict: I have been using Bare Escentuals foundation exclusively for over 5 years and have no interest in switching.  It works great for me and I'm so happy with it that I don't feel the need to try any other foundations.

Bare Escentuals Mineral Foundation is amazing! You really can't imagine how well it works until you see it with your own eyes. It really is everything it says it is: easy to apply, great-looking, natural coverage, and good for your skin.

My makeup (foundation, concealer, and blush) can be applied in five minutes or less, and the coverage is beautiful. It softens my complexion (both visually and to the touch), and it doesn't dry out my skin because it doesn't keep it from breathing like other products. I really liked this makeup, however, I have combination skin, so when i have dry patches and oily places at once, my face can look a mess after wearing bare minerals for a few hours. I think i might be making me break out too, but I can't prove that. But the oily spots look gross and shiny but there's the powder over top so that looks bizarre and then the dry patches look even dryer. I look pretty good from a distace though. Also, this isn't "convienience makeup" since I can't really take it with me anywhere... but I'll say for about the first hour I know I look pretty good... after that.. well, depends on how sweaty/greasy or generally disobedient my face feels like being that day. Can't blame the makeup though for my horrible skin issues. :(

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals - Cover imperfection flawlessly!

I have seen commercial for bareMinerals for years but never got to try out the products for real. Until recently I returned some cosmetics at Sephora and got store credit, which I decided to put to good use by buying a jar of bareMineral in Fair shade (the lightest shade). I finally realize why the product received so many positive reviews. It's because it works flawlessly just as described in those infomercial. The powder blends in pretty smooth on my skin, covers slight blemishes and dark spots instantly. I must also note that using a kabuki brush boosts the blending significantly. While I love the way it covers imperfections on my skin, I think I must have picked the wrong shade because Fair is too light for my skin tone. I also got occasional break-outs and blackheads, it bothers me quite a bit that's why I only rate this a 4-star. I'm not sure if it's a result of using powder foundation in general or just this product. Guess I have to find out for myself.

I'm sure you've all seen the informercials for Bare Escentuals products before and wondered, "Is that really as good as they say? It's a little bit more pricey than the stuff I buy at WalMart!" I wondered this as well, until I saw a friend use it and heard about how much she loved it. Bare Escentuals bareMinerals foundation is incredibly light, yet it gives me the coverage I need on those days when I have blemishes and redness to cover up without making it look like I'm even wearing makeup! I have been wearing Bare Minerals makeup for awhile now and could not be any happier.  The coverage is great, and it doesn't make me feel like I am wearing a mask.  I have acne prone skin and break out easily and with this foundation, It has actually improved my skin texture.  This has been the best choice for me and I have recommended it to many of my friends and family.

Have you seen those commercials on tv about bare essentuals? Have you thought yeah right that's just another product that is falsely advertised that is NOT going to work! Well in this case you are wrong they are very true to there word! It is easy to apply! It lasts all day! And it doesn't look caked on like a lot of others do!! But the best thing about it is it is GREAT for people with acne!! You will notice in time that it is much better than regular makeups!! Because its also MINERALS which are greaaaat for you skin! I personally had an acne problem, not only did it help disguise it (without caking on) but it also helped get rid of it! It wont clog your pores like the others They actually have room to breathe! This is definately the best mineral product I have tried myself!! I would say the only down side to it is that it is a bit more costly than your convienience store makeup! But it is well worth it

I absolutely love this foundation! I started using Bare Essentuals foundation at least 5 years ago, maybe more. My Aunts had started using it and recommended it. First time I tried it, I was hooked and have been using it ever since.

The great thing about this makeup is that it is made from natural ingredients and you can't even feel it on like some of those other foundations that feel cakey or run off your face. This foundation is lightweight and gives great coverage. This foundation paired with Bare Essentuals Bisque to cover any imperfections is fabulous.

I have been an avid user of this product for many years now. It is the ONLY pure, non-comedogenic makeup that does not irritate my skin beyond belief. I like the original formula, having tried the matte, this one works best for me. My skin is still combo, and this holds on the oily parts MUCH better than anything  have ever tried. I have tried many other brands without success. Then I decided to try Bare Minerals after watching an infomercial about it, and it did the job! The best part is it feels so light and offers great coverage that you don't feel like your wearing any makeup. I am still a bit undecided about this product. on the one hand, it gives a nice even but light coverage if your skin is well hydrated and exfoliated. The downside is that I felt like it dried me out a bit and ended up making my skin look patchy if I just put it on with no preparation. I bought the starter kit and didn't want to bother with all the highlighting and contouring, as I ended up feeling too made up.
