Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Feather Light Mineral Veil

With a name like Feather Light, this product always makes me think of gossamer wings and fairies fluttering around sprinkling magic dust all over the place.

OK, so, I know that's a bit far-fetched but this product is simply perfect. I use Bare Escentuals bareMinerals foundation which I love, once I fluff on a tiny amount of this super lightweight loose powder, my skin takes on a really nice finish.

I blend Feather Light Mineral Veil over everything, (saving my lips and lashes for the end as not to powder them out)  it blurrs edges, softens the look of skin, takes down shine, feels cool and comfortable, makes pores just about disappear and of course, sets everything else in place so it stays on longer with much less frequent touching-up.

This is a colorless powder so it won't interfere with whatever other color you're using in foundation or blush for that matter. A tiny amount applied with the proper brush swirled around in the lid, tapping off any excess and it will be enough to cover an entire face. Should you need to add more, don't worry this won't build up like regular powders can and it won't look cakey either.

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Feather Light Mineral Veil is perfect for any skin type and particularly superb for oily skin as it mattes down without totally making you look dry and unnatural. I find that it doesn't just sit on the skin but becomes part of it.  It has light-refracting pearls that float over skin, giving a radiant, translucent airbrushed look, not sparkle.

 A 0.3 oz (8.6 g) jar of this unscented colorless powder sells for $19.00, you need such a small amount that it lasts a while, at least it does for me. This is one product I will not be without no matter what else I'm using on my face, this isTHE finisher for me.
