Well Rested is a chalky yellow toned flesh colored powder. At first glance it looks way too yellow and light to be any good. However, looks can be deceiving. — — Well Rested is classified by Bare Escentuals as an EYESHADOW, however, the DVDs seem to present it as a concealer. I tried this product for the first time several years ago and have never looked back since. I prefer the natural look which is easy to achieve with this brand. I have never like the shine and heaviness you get with liquid foundation so the powder that doesn't "melt" off in the summertime is perfection. It really works. Covers blemishes even skin tone makes you look awake and refeshed. I like the natural look but hate my skin tone and I'm horrible at putting on makeup the right way , not with this. I have tried the bare escentuals foundation, mineral veil, and well-rested. — It is a bit on the expensive side, and I would not have purchased it ~ except ~ that I can claim it as a 'business expense' as I wanted to compare it to what I use & sell (Avon mineral makeup) — I did 1/2 my face with the bare escentuals and 1/2 with the Avon smooth minerals (several times, even did it for a sales meeting demonstration ;) ~ and dared my ladies to tell the difference :) only 1 of them said they could see a difference, and she thinks she did a lucky… read full review »

This is the greatest. If you have ever woken up after a night of hardly any sleep and wished you didnt look so darn tired this is the product for you. Just swipe some of it over your eye lids and below your eyes right over the dark circles. And just like that viola you look rested. Im completely serious. It is so amazing. I cannot say enough great things about all Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals products! Having been troubled by acne and other skin issues as a teenager, I wish I would have known about this line of natural makeup years ago! I kept seeing it on TV and wanted it. My husband got it for me for Christmas. I love it. My husband even said "Wow, you look awesome!!!!!." I hope that wasn't "You looked horrible before." HA HA. I know what he meant. My husband is 6 years younger than me and I just like to look my best at all times. The Bare Escentuals Well Rested is one thing that I have never regreted buying off the TV. All my life I had been using nasty foundation makep with so many disgusting added on preservatives and chemicals..at the end of each day my face would look like a cake, not in the good way. Ever since I tried bare escentuals two years ago, I have not gone back to any other brand. They are always coming up with new and advanced cosmetics for every woman's makeup routine. What if you could face the mirror each day and look as if you'd gotten the most restful 8 hours you've ever had? That's what this little gem does, when properly applied. The slight yellow tint neutralizes that red ring around the eye that comes from not enough rest, too much partying, etc. Use your ring finger to pat and press the tiniest amount around the entire eye; use it on your lid to neutralize discoloration. Bare Escentuals Well-Rested is a great product. It covers dark circles well and always makes my eye area look its best. I have a couple of friends who started using it shortly after I did and we are all hooked. It is great on all of our skin tones, though using too much can make the eye area a little too bright looking on darker skin. This whole line of make up is wonderful. It is light feeling, covers all my imperfections and leaves such a well made up look without looking "made up". I have gotten so many compliments on my make up and even got my mom to switch over. This product gives an almost airbrushed look. You do need to make sure you are applying right. This product covers darkness and blemishes, be careful not to get it in eyelashes unless you plan to use mascara. I use it without so careful application is used.
