I really wanted to like Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Renew & Reveal Facial Cleanser, but this product was subpar. I am a loyal Bare Minerals makeup customer and began trying their other products in their line, unfortunately, was disappointed in this product. The idea of going from a solid and mixing with water to create a lather was interesting, I liked how it smelled and how it felt on my face, but I never felt like it was really getting my face clean. Remember, I am a loyal Bare Minerals makeup user so I expected that the facial cleanser should be able to take their own makeup off. After I washed my face I would find makeup (usually quite a bit) on the towel I used to dry my face. I stuck with the product for a while, probably longer than I should have (probably because of the cost of the product), and just was never satisfied. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product unless they changed the formula. I will be sticking to the Bare Minerals makeup line.

I am a Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals girl ALL.THE.WAY! I've tried most of their products and really like almost all of them. However, since the introduction of these RareMinerals products I've been left less than happy with the addition. I have had acne almost all my life; yes, there are pictures of me at the age of one years old with a big pimple on my cheek - I kid you not. I have searched and searched for acne products for so long, and have had much luck over the years. The problem is once I find a combination that works perfect for me, one of two things usually happen: 1. They discontinue the product/products OR 2. My face becomes too familar/use to the ingredients and they turn inaffective or start to cause major break outs after even years. So even when I find a great combination, I still try new stuff just as a back up. So I was super excited when Bare Escentuals RearMinerals was released - but soon found that the ingredients actually break me out horribly. I have even thought maybe it was only one particular product out of the line so went on to try several others over the years, with epic failure; Reveal Facial Cleanser proved to be the same for me as well. Effectiveness Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Reveal Facial Cleanser did not help rid me of my adult acne at all - in fact it made it worse and just after two days of using my face looked a mess. Ease of Application Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Reveal Facial Cleanser has a horribly difficult and complex application. I really just want to get my cleansing routine over with, and with this BE cleanser it just had to many steps to it...to many messy steps. UGH! Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Reveal Facial Cleanser, in my opinion, is just a big headache! You have to mix the powder with just the right amount of water each time you want to wash your face with this. It really is a stupid concept and just takes too much time (and causes another big mess on my countertop). Plus I just couldn't consistantly get the right texture or liquidity each time, and again, it just took to long and put too much worry into the whole face washing process. Scent I happened to have hated the Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Reveal Facial Cleanser scent. I'm very "scent"sitive to perfumes and odors and this just did not agree with me - it gave me a headache and it seems like the scent "stuck" even after I rinsed the cleanser off.

After falling in love with Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Purely Nourishing Moisturizer, I couldn't wait to try my sample of the matching cleanser. I've used it several times and I love it! Not only do I recommend **Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Renew & Reveal Facial Cleanser**, but I also HIGHLY recommend the matching moisturizer - RareMinerals Purely Nourishing Moisturizer. Both products are amazing and both leave my face soft, smooth and hydrated. Effectiveness Although I was a little put-off by the powder in the beginning, I soon fell in love with it. After using it, my face felt extremely clean, but not stripped or dried out. It's actually a perfect clean feeling. I love it! Ease of Application Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Renew & Reveal Facial Cleanser is really unique because it comes in powder form. To turn the powder into a cleanser, simply pour some into your wet hands and rub them together. The powder then turns into a thin, slightly grainy cleanser that not only cleans my face, but exfoliates too! Scent I don't think there was a scent. If there was, it was really mild.

I dont quite know where to begin with this product...for those of you that are not familiar with this cleanser it is a powder that you dump in to your hand and add water to...supposedly it should create a cleaning paste!!!             I however never felt like it got my face clean or removed all of my make up, when I would run a cotton pad across my face with toner after cleansing it would turn brown with the left over make up and dirt that the "cleanser"  did not remove!!!  I assumed that with the tiny powder minerals that it would sloth off dead skin and work almost like an exfoliating agent would, but alas I was wrong....I felt just as dirty after cleaning as I did before cleaning!!!  As for the scent of the cleanser..I found it to be not very appealing at all, almost like medicine mixed with dirt..I know it sounds bad, but that is my oppinion of Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Renew and Reveal Facial Cleanser! :(

I have always had sensitive skin and my face breaks out when I use new products.  I tried several products trying to find something that doesn't make my face red and blotchy, this product has changed my morning routine.  I didn't think I would like the powder formula, but I found it is easier on face, works well removing dirt and oil and returning my face to a fresh beginning.   The powder formula is easy to transport when traveling and the full bottle will go through the airport check-in since it's powder.  Its easy to use and easy on my sensitive skin.  The only negative to the product is it doesn't work well on eye makeup and the smell of the powder is not great.  Otherwise, great product!

Unfortunately, I found this product to be average in its product formula. I was told by the sales person that this was a great and effective product in helping elimate acne and its scars. My first attempt in using this product was not that great. I poured out the product and the smell reminded me of dirt. It was not pleasant at all and the texture of it was extremely powdery. It felt like putting flour on my face and expecting it to help elminate acne scars. I expected a miracle from an ordinary product. The price for this product was extremely expensive for not being able to do its job. I would not recommend this product to anyone I know. I have always loved Bare Escentuals products and have always trusted in the quality of the products I was purchasing, but this facial cleanser has made me question whether or not I'd like to purchase other products from this company. I hope they fix the problem soon.

I am in love with this product!  It is soo easy to use, and fast, too!  Plus, it leaves my skin feeling great. I'd always had problems with other facial cleansers leaving a "residue" type feeling on my face, but not with this one!  My skin feels very fresh, very clean and not at all weighed down by product. Since I've started using it, my skin looks so much better!  It is more expensive than some other types of facial cleaners, but this is not a place to skimp.  Really, the quality of this product is so worth the money it costs!

I have been using Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Renew & Reveal Facial Cleanser for almost two months now, and I really love it! I have very sensitive skin, and I have to be careful with what I use on my face. I have used Bare Escentuals makeup successfully, so I thought I would give this a try. This cleanser is in powder form, and to use it, you wet your face and your hands and pour a small amount into the palm of your hand. Add a few drops of water and rub the water in gently. The powder becomes a creamy cleanser, and can then be applied to your face. You rub it in gently, and rinse. I found this product very easy to use. The bottle is well designed, and only a small amount of powder comes out when you tip it over, and gently squeeze- no huge blobs of powder. I like the scent-there is a faint smell of mineral or vitamin smell, but its so faint you can barely smell it. The color is an off white. When you rub it into your skin, the cleanser thickens and stays where you put it. I have had this current bottle for 8 weeks, and I still have 1/4 powder left. I use this morning and night. I have had no bad skin reactions, and my skin is very smooth and soft. It is a gentle cleanser, and I love rubbing it into my face! It cleans very well with no residue, but leaves your skin soft and moisturized. A great product! I am very pleased with this product, and will buy more!

Bare Escentuals has some pretty good products, and the skin care line is supposed to be wonderful.  I think I would of really enjoyed this cleanser if I didn't have such a problem with acne.  I love the fact that it comes in a powder so you can make it as thick and creamy as you want.  You can even turn it into a mask if need be.  It just didn't do anything for my pimples.  I ended up breaking out worse than I did before I started using it.  I have learned that my skin just works better with cleansers that have some sort of salycilic acid in them or benzoyl peroxide to dry things up.  The natural ingredients just didn't mesh with my skin.  However I have heard people rave about how much better their skin looks after using the skin care line.  It does have a bunch of really good anti aging ingredients, and I love love love the moisturizer.  I just wouldn't reccoment this product for anyone suffering from acne.  If you are looking for a good anti aging cleanser then I would give this one a try, along with the eye cream and moisturizer!

I am not a big fan of the smell of this product but i love how it comes in powder form so you can pick the texture and density you want.  its all natural so its really good for your skin. I have really sensitive skin and it did not dry my skin out . I would not get this product if you are on a tight budget because it IS on the pricier side.  it lasts a while if you don't use it like they advertise in the stores and waste it all.  It all washes off your face so you do not have to worry about white powder spots.  It leaves your skin super soft and i would buy it again for sure.  it can be a bit messy beaucuse it is, afterall, powerder so it can spill and make you sneeze but you get the hang of it after a couple nights of use.  I found that my skin was softer after just one use so it is very efficient.  Your skin does not feel tight and unmovable after you wash it like most cleansers do.  It is pretty clos tot perfection so i gave it 4 stars!
