Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Blemish Therapy —

This product contains sulfur to treat acne and blemishes while preventing future breakouts. It penetrates pores to control blackheads while the translucent tint neutralizes and diffuses the look of blemishes. It can be used as an overnight spot treatment to heal blemishes and also as a daytime treatment under BareMinerals makeup or on it's own.

I bought this for $28 at Sephora for my daughter, who has just begun breaking out now and then. I didn't want the usual anti-acne products because her skin is super sensitive. I needed something gentle that at the same time could help cover up a blemish, since she doesn't wear makeup.

We both love that it came with the brush, which is a very nice quality brush. I bought her a pretty little makeup bag to keep both the jar and the brush in.

She's used this product about three times now and both of us are blown away by how effective it is. It doesn't irritate her skin. She doesn't experience any itching or redness while using the product. She does experience an immediate reduction in the blemish within one day!

I recently used it before bedtime on a spot that had popped up during the day. It was big and red! The next morning, it was no longer red and it was no longer big. It had shrunk down considerably. I was amazed. I snagged it again after taking a shower and by the end of the day, that blemish was almost gone!

My daughter does have a blackhead and I've asked her to try using the Blemish Therapy on it, but she hasn't yet. I really would like to see if BE's claim that it penetrates pores to "control" blackheads is really true or not. If she tries it, I will definitely update my review here.

$28 seems like a lot for an anti-blemish product, but when you consider how quickly it works with no irritation, it is so worth it. The jar holds 0.07 oz. which sounds like a tiny amount, but it isn't. When you apply it, you don't need much. A very small amount on the brush and you're good to go. This jar is going to last a very, very long time!

This is one of those can't live without products. I really like the Bare Escentuals foundation (I prefer it over the L'Oreal brand) and I am very pleased with how well the Blemish Therapy product works. It really is amazing.
