Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil Reviews

I recently bought (and returned) a Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals kit from Ulta.com.  I had heard great things about their make-up for a long time, so I finally succumbed and bought the kit when it was so reasonably priced ($15), I couldn't pass it up.

The kit included two different shades of Bare Minerals loose foundation, Mineral Veil and a mini kabuki brush.  I disliked everything in the kit so much, I returned to Ulta.com for a refund.

I love this stuff. It offers the best coverage, without feeling like you are wearing a lot of heavy makeup. It's amazingness is most obvious in the summer. It is sweat proof, grease proof, and stays on all day. They say you can even sleep in it, I am not sure about that. But my skin has improved since I have been using this.

Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil is a wonderful product. I am extremely concerned about my skin and it's appearance. For the mere simple fact that I love my face but I also make a few extra bucks off modeling it. I take it on every shoot I attend. It gives your face a perfect finish without feeling like you have a mask on. The biggest thing I noticed was your skin doesn't become oily after sweating for awhile. It actually seemed to help me not sweat (well,... on my face anyway)

I can go through a complete day without having to re-apply the product. That's important when you're on a budget.

Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil was the last product in the kit that I bought at Sephora. Mine is not tinted or illuminated. It is the regular Mineral Veil. It is said to be a finishing powder for the face and that is an accurate term. I love Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil's smooth and flawless finish. I sometimes use it instead of foundation or powder when I won't be wearing color. It evens the skin tone and minimizes pores. When I do wear color, the Mineral Veil sets my make-up and creates an even finish. The only negative experience I have had with this product, is that if I apply it to my eyelids, it tends to cause irritation. I have and will continue to use and recommend this product.

I love this Bare Minerals Mineral Veil.  It is not only good after the entire Bare Minerals regimen (concealer, mineral foundation, mineral color and then the veil), but also great after any foundation, liquid or not.

1.  It reduces the shine after liquid foundation.  I tend to use the liquid foundation in the winter because my skin is drier in the winter.  Sometimes I use it in the summer as well.  The mineral veil is fantastic to reduce the shine from the liquid foundation.  I love it, it adds a certain glow to the skin.

I have always used bare minerals foundation, and other prodducts and have been very pleased....... however the mineral veil did not impress me. ..... Maybe its my skin type but i just did not see a huge difference in my skin while i was wearing it.  In fact, i found that by the end of the day, it looked almost clumpy and awkward........
