Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil Review

To the Point

Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil was the last product in the kit that I bought at Sephora. Mine is not tinted or illuminated. It is the regular Mineral Veil. It is said to be a finishing powder for the face and that is an accurate term. I was going to say frosting on the cake but that didn't quite do; then I thought of something like a lacquer for your woodworking project.

I love Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil. The company does not test on animals. It does not have parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petro-chemicals, or phthalates. 

At about $19.00 for less than 1/2 an ounce it is expensive but as long as you don't spill the container you'll be alright. Like other products in the line the powder is under a lid with holes in it. I do lose some and just the other day my husband asked me what was all over the sink! I like to put some in the cap of the jar and use Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil from there.

My Experiences

I first put on my Bare Escentuals primer and then foundation. After that I put on what I think of as a blush. I then dab on lightly my Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil. I think of it as a product that "sets" everything under it. It takes away shine and doesn't cake in my lines.

Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil is totally sheer so it doesn't conflict with the other products. I find it light and natural looking but it does what it is supposed to do! Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil has staying power and lasts as long as my makeup lasts! In addition I have dry skin. I don't find that Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil has a negative effect on my skin because of my dryness.
