I have been Bare Escentuals foundation for years and absolutely love it. Lately I've been using some of their other eye and face products by picking up some of the Bare Escentuals kits that have been on QVC. These kits almost always include new brushes that I don't have that I somehow need. One of the recent kits came with the Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush. I had no idea that I even needed this brush but now that I have it and use it, I absolutely cannot live without it.
This brush is used with a product called Multi-Tasking Bisque which is a concealer.
From Sephora.com:
The smooth, synthetic bristles of this concealer brush allows full, concentrated coverage that blends into skin flawlessly. It holds more Multi-Tasking Bisque concealing bareMinerals, giving you extra coverage fast.
The synthetic bristles of this brush are very soft and densely packed. I just dip it into the pot of Bisque to pick up a very small amount of the soft silky powder and dab it on any red or dark spots on my face. Although the Bisque is quite a bit lighter than my skin tone, something about this brush allows me to completely cover those spots yet blend it into my skin so that you cannot even tell that I've covered something up.
I use this brush every single day to lighten up the dark spots in the corners of my eyes, to apply an eyeshadow base, and to cover some red acne scars on my cheek and chin. Some days all I use is the Bisque and this brush to cover the uneven skin tones and don't even bother with foundation as I'm very happy with the result.
This brush is a bit expensive ($18) but it is well made and I have no doubt that it will last me many years. Once a week I wash it by swishing in some face wash and rinse thoroughly and it's held up quite well.
