I don't use Bare Esentuals cosmetics but I love Kabuki brushes. They are great for applying face powder, bronzer, and even powdered blush. I even use one for dusting my LUSH Silky Underwear Powder on my body.
I own the Bare Escentuals Full Coverage Kabuki Brush and like it. Is is very wide and the bristles are multilevel to pick up lots of powder. The bottom is not like regular makeup brushes. It is just a round metal cap. I would actually prefer one with a longer handle but the idea is to get right into the powder and to control application by holding the brush close to the face.
While I love this brush, I feel it is very overpriced. You can buy the EXACT same brush (same manufacturer, same brush) from www.mymineralglitters.com. I have one from that site, which is a great mineral makeup site, and the two brushes are identical. The only difference is that I only paid around $10.00 for the new kabuki brush compared to around $28.00 for Bare Escentuals Full Coverage Kabuki Brush.
My Viewpoint
Great brush, high price.
You won't get any shedding or have any problems with the brush and it does last for a long, long time. If you want the same brush for half the price or less, check out the website I mentioned. I have no affiliation with that website. I am just a customer there and own brushes from both BE and My Mineral Glitters.
I give this brush 4 stars. It's a very good brush but I have one that is a touch better. And a LOT more expensive. It is a sable hair brush from a professional makeup artist supply store. I will review it soon.
