Quick View: I recently made a large purchase at Sephora.com (again) and got a free full sized tube of Bare Escentuals Buxom Lips with my purchase. The shade I was sent was Amber which is a sheer peach shade. This lip plumper doesn't plump and has very little color but it feels good on my lips and lasts quite a while. I wouldn't buy it for $18.00. For free, it's OK.

I have to say I am not thrilled to write this review, I am a loyal user of Bare Escentuals but this product was a huge let down. It purpose is to plumb those lips to a sexy pout, but all it did was make my lips tingle, and even sting a bit. If my kids would grab my drink there lips would start burning. The packaging is also defective. The inner tube that holds the gloss ruptured and I lost some gloss. This also happened to a friend of mine. Keep your 18 bucks and choose another brand like Venom..now there's a good pout!

I first tried Bare Escentuals with a starter kit that came with Buxom Lip Gloss in Ginger.  I absolutely love the color, and while there is a tingling sensation, I haven't noticed my lips looking any larger.  Granted, I wasn't expecting a huge difference, but thought there would be some.  I have since bought several more Buxom lip glosses because I love how they are shiny without being sticky.  I also love the lasting colors. 

I recieved a Buxom Lips gloss in a kit that I purchased a few years a go, and I absolutely loved that gloss.  It feels smooth and creamy on your lips, and depending on what color you choose, the color pay off is very good.  I believe I had Bambi.

When you first smooth it on, you don't really notice anything special or different about this gloss, but as it sits on your lips for 30 seconds or so, you start to notice a tingling sensation.

I found it extremely pleasant and cooling feeling, not like some lip plumpers that I had tried that burned.  This felt nice and non irritating.

I know that glosses are on their way out and the new (old?) thing is lipsticks and stains. Call me old fashioned or dated, but I feel my face was MADE for smoky eyes and a glossy lip. So though the world is purchasing sticks of products, I am still looking for Nirvana with a Wand.

I looooooooooooooooooooooooooove Bare Escentuals Buxom Lips. Aside for a bit over the top price i think this is a great product. The tingly feeling on your lips is so refreshing and it does make your lips plump up. Nothing dramatic but it does fill some of the cracks on your lips. The colors are amazing and complement each skin tone well. For myself, latin, tanned olive skin, finding a good dark rich color was dificult and Buxom offers a nice variety that gives me the natural shear look with plummy tones (Dolly) to amazing full covered dramatic lips (Stella). I love Buxom lip gloss from Bare escentuals! I bought it in 3 colors and love them all. It plumps but does not sting or make lips red. Leaves them smooth and conditioned! I wear it everyday! I have Sophie, Choloe, and Ginger. They are each perfect. Not too glittery or too plain, just right. I perfer the old applicator with the sponge to the new brush one the sponge is easier to apply while driving! Now this is the only lip gloss I wear I put all the others in my drawer and have not touched them since I bought these.
