I am a Bare Minerals user, though not an addict like some others. My typical routine is mineral veil and bisque. I have always thought the product didn't last on my skin like it does on others, so I was looking for a way to carry my minerals with me without making a mess in my purse. Then this brush came out and I was in heaven!! Finally, a way to carry my minerals in my purse without spiling and it came with a brush!!

This brush is black and has a clear jar thing that unscrews from the bottom of the brush. It also comes with a scooper so you can easily transfer your minerals from the jar to the brush. I lost the scoop after the first use. Once the minerals are in the little jar and screwed back in, you take the lid off the top of the brush and twist up until the brush is open. Then you're supposed to turn the brush upside down and shake it to get the powder to come through the little tube into the brush. You're supposed to tap it on your hand to disperse the powder through the bristles.

So I did everything I was supposed to, and the powder just would not come out through the brush - at all. I shook it, tapped it on my hand, tapped it on the table - nothing worked. The only way I could get powder to come out of this brush was to take the brush head off (which is magnetic), shake the powder through the little tube into the lid, put the brush head back on and then dip it into the lid. If you're a bare minerals user, you know this is the method to use anyway so what's the purpose? It seems like it would be easier to just carry a jar of bare minerals in your purse with a brush.

Overall, I think they need to rethink the concept and remake the brush, because it really is a great idea!! It just doesn't work. And for something that costs 35 bucks, you expect it to work.
