The Verdict: I have been using Bare Escentuals foundation exclusively for over 5 years and have no interest in switching. It works great for me and I'm so happy with it that I don't feel the need to try any other foundations.
Just the Facts: I first started using BE foundation over 5 years ago when I saw it on QVC. My skin tone is a bit uneven but I still get acne and have acne scars from years ago so I was looking for something that would cover new breakouts, even out my skin tone, and cover those red scars.
Bare Escentuals foundation did all three. Even after watching the product being applied to several of the models on TV, it took me a bit of practice to get the swirl, tap, buff technique right but I accomplished it after just a few tries.
This foundation has been a miracle for me. It somehow looks very natural, covers all my spots, and feels like I'm wearing nothing at all on my face. I have far less breakouts than I did when using liquid foundation as well. My dad even noticed when I started using BE and commented that my skin looked really good. He didn't realize I was wearing make up at all and thought it was just my bare skin all healed and cleared up.
Closing Argument: I am a cosmetics junkie and love to try new things even when I've found products I like a lot. But since I've switched to Bare Escentuals foundation I've not had the desire to try any other foundations. It works perfectly for me and I could not be happier. It's a little expensive at about $25 but I use so little that one container of it lasts me more than six months. 5 Stars!
