How many of you have seen the info-mercials?? Well, I finally gave in and gave it a try. It took a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but now I love to swirl, tap and buff! I really wanted to like this makeup, but it made my skin red and irritated. I used it for several weeks before I gave up. If you have really sensitive skin, this might not be for you. There are other mineral makeups out there that do not have the irritating ingredients AND they're less expensive.

I was in the mall one day and decided to walk in and try this new line of make up. I told the lady that I have very sensitive skin, so much so that I can't wear make up. Well she assured me that it will be safe on for my skin. I tried on the make up and blush. I was pleased that I did not get any skin reactions, took her card and make up info and walked out of the store. My favorite mineral foundation is very expensive, so when I saw that Ulta.com had a Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals kit for only $15.00, I thought I should see what all the fuss was about.  The kit includes two loose powder foundation colors, Mineral Veil and a mini kabuki brush.  Luckily, Ulta.com has a great return policy because I disliked it so much, I sent it back to get a refund.

I have read so many positive things about Bare Escentuals, I was really looking forward to trying out my inexpensive Bare Minerals kit.  The opportunity to try out several of their products for only $15 sounded...

I may be 26, but my skin never got the message.  I still break out like a teenager and have been struggling to cover up my acne for as long as I can remember.  After trying practically every pricey concealer on the market, I'd finally given up about 10 months ago and just stopped using skin makeup completely.

If youre looking for a product that isnt heavy or pore clogging then this is it.   I would definately recommend this to anyone.  It even has SPF15 in the foundation powder.  My skin is super sensitive and breaks out from most products. (even the ones marked sensitive skin).  I have yet to have a breakout.   It makes my skin glow.    I dont like the made up look (heavy foundation and powder).  I like my skin to look natural and this product does that.    Im so glad my friend had it and told me to try it.  Now Im hooked on the line.   I even bought the eye shadow and havent had...

I love Bare Minerals. I have had people ask what I use on my face for makeup because it looks so natural. At first it was hard to get used to just a powder. But then after about a year of using it I tried a liquid foundation and had to wash it right off. It felt so heavy. I've tried the Arbonne Mineral founation too, but like Bare Minerals better. The Mineral Veil is wonderful too. It is very light and looks like you've been airbrushed.

Bare Minerals make you naturally beautiful, glowing, and confident.  Depending on the brush you use, you get variable coverage from the same product.  As a Psoriasis sufferer, I can attest to the quality of this makeup, and the ease of use.

I have their face products, lip product, and eye makeup, and have been happy with everything they make.

Looking beautiful is quick, easy, dependable, and foolproof.  What more could you want?

My daily routine:
  • Foundation applied with "Flawless Face" brush (I use Fairly Light)

I have a very fair complexion and freckles. This make up smooths your complexion better than most loose powders and gives a natural look unlike liquid make up or pressed powder. I bought this for a friend who has suffered from skin cancer several times, resulting in extensive scarring. This make up covered her scars and gave her fresh appearance of not wearing make up.   If you decide to buy this, be sure to purchase the starter kit because the brushes make all of the difference.

LOVE this makeup!  Why?  1-spf!  who doesn't love SPF in a powder?  2-doesn't go anywhere--Living in Houston means everything melts off....NOT bare escentuals! 

 

One word of advice for anyone considering--don't rip off the white stickers on the packages--instead poke holes in half of them.  That way you won't have loads of makeup on the lid, yet you can shake just what you need!

This is the best makeup ever! Bare escentuals mineral makeup covers pimples, dark under eye circles, and makes you look like you are airbrushed to perfection! My skin is so healthy and clear! You do not feel like you have makeup on and it is so easy to use! QUick and simple! They not only have foundation, but bronzer, blush, mineral veil, eyeshadow, eyeliner,.... and the list goes on and on!

I use to use very expensice liquid foundation that claimed it wouldn't clog pores and had great coverage.  But months before my wedding 3 1/2 years ago, I switched to Bare Essentuals mineral foundation, and I will never use anything else.  It is so light, covers well and provides SPF 15.  I've worn it in 100+ degrees and it never sweated off, I love it!!

I love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love love, absolutely everything about Bare Minerals makeup - except "Warmth". 

I know that Leslie says it is for everyone, but I am whiter than Barbie.  It is a no go for me - which is why I was THRILLED when they came out with "Tinted Mineral Veil" which is a PERFECT alternative for us paler than pale girls.

Get a starter kit, buy a kit on QVC, search Amazon.com, all I can say is that the money is well spent.

The brushes are the BEST EVER.

The makeup goes on fast, covers it all and looks good all day long.

It took me a long time to get the hang of this make-up.  I've invested in it 3 times and 2 out of those 3 times, I've given the product away or trashed it.  It just wasn't working for me.  It seemed to settle into my dry lines and emphasize them - not good!  I finally started using a daily moisturizer on my face and decided to give it another "tap & spin".  Well, now I love it!  My skin glows.  I know that sounds cliche', but it does.  I look like I've spent a glorious day in the sun - I look healthy.  The only drawback is the brushes tend to be a little prickly on the sensitive areas...

I love Bare Essentuals!!! I started using it ages ago, I hated to tell people I bought it off of TV but I am so glad I got sucked into that infomercial. I am 36 and have been using it since I was 30. I Love how this makeup makes my skin look and feeel. It is so light just the thought of ever using 'liquid' makeup again grosses me out. My skin/complection actually improved after I started using it. My skin looks healthier now then I did in my teens and twenties.
