My favorite mineral foundation is very expensive, so when I saw that Ulta.com had a Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals kit for only $15.00, I thought I should see what all the fuss was about.  The kit includes two loose powder foundation colors, Mineral Veil and a mini kabuki brush.  Luckily, Ulta.com has a great return policy because I disliked it so much, I sent it back to get a refund.

I have read so many positive things about Bare Escentuals, I was really looking forward to trying out my inexpensive Bare Minerals kit.  The opportunity to try out several of their products for only $15 sounded...

If youre looking for a product that isnt heavy or pore clogging then this is it.   I would definately recommend this to anyone.  It even has SPF15 in the foundation powder.  My skin is super sensitive and breaks out from most products. (even the ones marked sensitive skin).  I have yet to have a breakout.   It makes my skin glow.    I dont like the made up look (heavy foundation and powder).  I like my skin to look natural and this product does that.    Im so glad my friend had it and told me to try it.  Now Im hooked on the line.   I even bought the eye shadow and havent had...

I have a very fair complexion and freckles. This make up smooths your complexion better than most loose powders and gives a natural look unlike liquid make up or pressed powder. I bought this for a friend who has suffered from skin cancer several times, resulting in extensive scarring. This make up covered her scars and gave her fresh appearance of not wearing make up.   If you decide to buy this, be sure to purchase the starter kit because the brushes make all of the difference.

LOVE this makeup!  Why?  1-spf!  who doesn't love SPF in a powder?  2-doesn't go anywhere--Living in Houston means everything melts off....NOT bare escentuals! 

One word of advice for anyone considering--don't rip off the white stickers on the packages--instead poke holes in half of them.  That way you won't have loads of makeup on the lid, yet you can shake just what you need!

I love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love love, absolutely everything about Bare Minerals makeup - except "Warmth". 

I know that Leslie says it is for everyone, but I am whiter than Barbie.  It is a no go for me - which is why I was THRILLED when they came out with "Tinted Mineral Veil" which is a PERFECT alternative for us paler than pale girls.

Get a starter kit, buy a kit on QVC, search Amazon.com, all I can say is that the money is well spent.

It took me a long time to get the hang of this make-up.  I've invested in it 3 times and 2 out of those 3 times, I've given the product away or trashed it.  It just wasn't working for me.  It seemed to settle into my dry lines and emphasize them - not good!  I finally started using a daily moisturizer on my face and decided to give it another "tap & spin".  Well, now I love it!  My skin glows.  I know that sounds cliche', but it does.  I look like I've spent a glorious day in the sun - I look healthy.  The only drawback is the brushes tend to be a little prickly on the sensitive areas...
