How many of you have seen the info-mercials?? Well, I finally gave in and gave it a try. It took a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but now I love to swirl, tap and buff! I really wanted to like this makeup, but it made my skin red and irritated. I used it for several weeks before I gave up. If you have really sensitive skin, this might not be for you. There are other mineral makeups out there that do not have the irritating ingredients AND they're less expensive.

My favorite mineral foundation is very expensive, so when I saw that Ulta.com had a Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals kit for only $15.00, I thought I should see what all the fuss was about.  The kit includes two loose powder foundation colors, Mineral Veil and a mini kabuki brush.  Luckily, Ulta.com has a great return policy because I disliked it so much, I sent it back to get a refund.

I have read so many positive things about Bare Escentuals, I was really looking forward to trying out my inexpensive Bare Minerals kit.  The opportunity to try out several of their products for only $15 sounded...

I was in the mall one day and decided to walk in and try this new line of make up. I told the lady that I have very sensitive skin, so much so that I can't wear make up. Well she assured me that it will be safe on for my skin. I tried on the make up and blush. I was pleased that I did not get any skin reactions, took her card and make up info and walked out of the store. As soon as I got into the hallway I noticed a familiar tingling sensation on my face and started to get concerned. If youre looking for a product that isnt heavy or pore clogging then this is it.   I would definately recommend this to anyone.  It even has SPF15 in the foundation powder.  My skin is super sensitive and breaks out from most products. (even the ones marked sensitive skin).  I have yet to have a breakout.   It makes my skin glow.    I dont like the made up look (heavy foundation and powder).  I like my skin to look natural and this product does that.    Im so glad my friend had it and told me to try it.  Now Im hooked on the line.   I even bought the eye shadow and havent had...

I love Bare Minerals. I have had people ask what I use on my face for makeup because it looks so natural. At first it was hard to get used to just a powder. But then after about a year of using it I tried a liquid foundation and had to wash it right off. It felt so heavy. I've tried the Arbonne Mineral founation too, but like Bare Minerals better. The Mineral Veil is wonderful too. It is very light and looks like you've been airbrushed.

I may be 26, but my skin never got the message.  I still break out like a teenager and have been struggling to cover up my acne for as long as I can remember.  After trying practically every pricey concealer on the market, I'd finally given up about 10 months ago and just stopped using skin makeup completely.

Bare Minerals make you naturally beautiful, glowing, and confident.  Depending on the brush you use, you get variable coverage from the same product.  As a Psoriasis sufferer, I can attest to the quality of this makeup, and the ease of use.

I have their face products, lip product, and eye makeup, and have been happy with everything they make.

Looking beautiful is quick, easy, dependable, and foolproof.  What more could you want?

My daily routine:
  • Foundation applied with "Flawless Face" brush (I use Fairly Light)
  • Apply foundation in concentrated amount with concealer brush where needed

I love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love love, absolutely everything about Bare Minerals makeup - except "Warmth". 

I know that Leslie says it is for everyone, but I am whiter than Barbie.  It is a no go for me - which is why I was THRILLED when they came out with "Tinted Mineral Veil" which is a PERFECT alternative for us paler than pale girls.

Get a starter kit, buy a kit on QVC, search Amazon.com, all I can say is that the money is well spent.

The brushes are the BEST EVER.

The makeup goes on fast, covers it all and looks good all day long.

Plus, my skin has never been in...

It took me a long time to get the hang of this make-up.  I've invested in it 3 times and 2 out of those 3 times, I've given the product away or trashed it.  It just wasn't working for me.  It seemed to settle into my dry lines and emphasize them - not good!  I finally started using a daily moisturizer on my face and decided to give it another "tap & spin".  Well, now I love it!  My skin glows.  I know that sounds cliche', but it does.  I look like I've spent a glorious day in the sun - I look healthy.  The only drawback is the brushes tend to be a little prickly on the sensitive areas...

I love Bare Essentuals!!! I started using it ages ago, I hated to tell people I bought it off of TV but I am so glad I got sucked into that infomercial. I am 36 and have been using it since I was 30. I Love how this makeup makes my skin look and feeel. It is so light just the thought of ever using 'liquid' makeup again grosses me out. My skin/complection actually improved after I started using it. My skin looks healthier now then I did in my teens and twenties. This makeup is fantastic! I've been wearing it for over 2 years now and would NEVER go back to other types of makeup. It doesn't feel heavy, clog your pores, or make you look made-up.  The makeup is very easy and fast to apply and there is no need to worry about that "line" around the jawbone.  It blends flawlessly on your skin.  It is so light, it is like not wearing makeup at all.  Great for

This is the first time I've been able to wear foundation and not break out! This foundation provides great coverage, yet it's comfortably light. You can layer to build more coverage if you prefer. I always start with the Skin Rev Upper and foundation primer. The BareEscentuals line is absolutely amazing and it's a breeze to put on!

 First of all just want you say i do not buy anything full price. When i first saw the commercial for this product i was like whatever. I never have bought anything that was an info commercial. Then in Oct of 06 i was in my cousins wedding and two of the other bridesmaids had bags and i mean bags of this makeup. So of course being the penny pincher i am , i asked to use it and they were more then willing to let me. Along with telling about every eye shadow, lip, face etc that they had. The perfect make-up for people like me!  I have never been able to put make up on without the result looking somewhat clown-like.  I can just never get it right.

Then my sister introduced me to bare minerals and my problems were over!!  Just swirl, tap, buff!!  That is it!!  And from those three simple steps I get perfect coverage each and every time.

And check out this bonus...IT'S GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN!!  Are you kidding me??  I will never go back to the old liquid way of doing things.
