Movies that even moms will enjoy!

The first Barbie movie my daughter received as a gift was "Barbie in the Princess and the Pauper". We loved the movie. It was a musical and all of the songs were great. We actually had to buy another copy because it was watched and handled so much that it wouldn't play anymore. Ever since then we have been collecting the movies and now own them all. Some of our favorites are "The Diamond Castle", "Mermaidia", "The 12 Dancing Princesses" and "The Three Musketeers". The stories behind the movies are great and it makes it nice for mom's who have to watch (or listen) to the movies as well.  It's...

An entertaining new take on some of the classics

I have an active 4 year old "princess" who plays hard like her brother and doesn't like to watch movies/TV for a lengthy period. As an independent, intelligent and realistically proportioned woman, I do have some issues with Barbie in general, but am not going to "throw out the the baby with the bathwater" so to speak. Like it or not, my daughter is drawn to Barbie and the fact that she is being exposed to some of the old classics (ie.Rapunzel, Nutcracker) is appealing to me. My daughter loves all the Barbie movies.  We have Repunzel, Swan lake, Princess and the Pauper, Princess and the Diamond Castle, Barbie as the Island Princess, Fairytopia, Mermaidia., etc.. and we rent all the others.  She loves them, we do movie night every friday and it is usuallu a Barbie movie- atleast until my son is old enough to know the difference!!  Some are even enjoyable for me, we like some of the songs, they are cute.  We also have a bunch of the books to go along with the movies.  Little girls will sing and dance along with these movies, I defintely recommend  them.

My daughter has every barbie movie!! We can watch them over & over again!! Its not a boring story line so its fun for the whole family to sit down and watch maybe not so much for the dads but us girls def. love it!!!

Little girls will love the Barbie movies

My 3 daughters own all of the Barbie movies and each one is their new favorite.  Each one has a good story and keeps my daughters entertained.
