Barbados - The Crane Resort —
My husband and I went to Barbados for our honeymoon in 2006. We stayed at The Crane Resort in Barbados and loved it! The resort was beautiful; they have their own private beach with white sand and clear blue warm water. I found that everyone on the island was extremely friendly and willing to go out of their way for the tourists b/c that is their main source of income and they know it. We met a very nice cab driver our first day and he gave us his card and told us to call him if we needed anything. He drove us to the grocery store and waited while we shopped and showed us around the island. The water was very warm and so clear that you could see through it. We went snorkeling with sea turtles and had a blast.
