I received this as a birthday gift, as I am the pool maintenance person in the home and I wanted SOMETHING to help make it easier.  I love the idea.  Putting the baracuda together was easy... at first.  But you quickly learn that there is a great deal of strength necessary to put all of the joints together tight enough to be air-free.  Finding the right way of attaching the baracuda to our skimmer (which is very very old) was difficult.  Once hooked up appropriately, I'm sad to say that it doesn't work seemlessly.  On a good day, when opperating well, it jerks around and often looses suction.  We've had people from out local pool store come out to help us hook it up properly, to no avail.  I have learned, over time, that it is simply easier to vaccuum the pool, than to spend all of the time and energy tweaking this accessory.  Such a dissappointment.  An item intended to save you time and energy is just too much hassle.
