Our niece recommended that we use this to clean the kitchen and bathroom sinks and counters at our new home. It works AWESOME on cleaning the kitchen sink which gets stained whenever we pour coffee or spaghetti sauce in it. It doesn't have a strong aroma and doesn't bother my asthma.

The Bar Keepers Friend Liquid Cleanser works just as well as the powder version. It works great on sinks and tubs. I use mine mainly on the sinks in garage because those sinks get the most use when it comes to things like paint, oil for cars, and a myriad of other products for households that are not food related. It really makes scrubbing out the sinks much easier. Sometimes paint can be hard to remove, but the Bar Keepers Friend Liquid Cleanser makes it so much easier. I let it sit awhile in the sink and then when I scrub, the stuck on product comes right off. I do not have to put an excessive amount of effort into scrubbing the sink. I love it. The only issue I have with the liquid cleanser is that it smells much worse than the powder. It is definitely much more potent to my sinuses than the other stuff. I would recommend this, however, if you have a hard to clean place in your home. This product does wonders.

This is my favorite cleaning product. I stumbled across it when I was trying to figure out how to clean rust off of my grill. I have used it to clean my grill, my stainless steel pots, my oven, and all sinks and faucets in the house. It really cuts cleaning time in a major way. Wish I had found it sooner.

I've had problems with soap scum and hard water stains on my shower walls, bathtub and faucets and tried everything I could think of to clean them. No bathroom cleaner or home remedy I tried worked until I found Bar Keepers Friend Liquid Cleanser. I just squirted it on the shower wall and faucet and wiped clean with a sponge. It was easy and made the tiles and faucets look brand new. My husband was amazed. It certainly beats scrubbing the walls for hours. My only complaint is that it did not clean the grout at all. I think the grout in my shower was not sealed properly and I have yet to find anything that will get it clean. Howerver, I highly recommend Bar Keepers Friend for all you bathroom cleaning needs. I use it on tile, countertops, faucets, sinks and the toilet. It's better than any Softscrub or Clorox product I've used doesn't cost any more than other bathroom cleaners.

This is the best product for cleaning a dirty/soap scummy tub and shower. I have tried all kinds of bathroom cleaners and this is simply amazing. I highly recommend it! Performance Easy to use liquid formula - the bottle can get clogged so I run it under hot water for a minute or so to get it flowing again.

After using Bar Keepers cleaning products in the powder form for years, saw that they now have it in a liquid. It comes in a 24 oz. plastic bottle that sits upside down on its cap. Ok so we have to shake well, did that, so see how it works compared to the powder. Well the opening in the bottle was clogged with the white stuff that was suppose to mix with the liquid in the bottle. Needless to say I had to clean the cap out first before it could even be used. The dispensing cap actually is too large, so when you go to squeeze it on the surface to be cleaned you get way more than you need. The product does clean well however I will not be purchasing the liquid cleanser again. You have to shake the heck out of it to get it to mix and it still doesn't mix as well as I would like. Oh and it does dry your hands out. I gave it a 4 star cause it does clean well, but a pain to use. Performance As far as cleaning it does a great job. The dispenser is my biggest complaint, it sucks and the contents do not stay mixed for long. Scent Typical cleanser smell, not too over powering.

My daughter called recently to tell me about a product she had just discovered. Bar Keepers Friend Liquid Cleaner is made in the US without phosphates, bleach or abrasive substances. I can stand behind a product like that and I do.

I have been having problems with hard water stains on all of my chrome faucets and I've tried just about everything. Vinegar, vinegar and baking soda, lime away, scrubbing bubbles....it's been really frustrating. I saw someone online mention this product and I thought why not try it. I just got it and used it one time and the stains are gone!!!! I did have to rub a little harder on some of the more built up areas but it really did come off! I can't say enough good things about this product and I'm so glad I bought a few more of them! I will always keep this in stock in my house now! It works great on a number of areas not just your faucets, anywhere you get hard water stains or soap scum, I will be using this! It even works on stainless steel! Definitely get this product! Performance You may have to scrub a little harder with thick hard water stains but really this stuff is amazing. You leave it on for a little bit and for the most part just wipe clean.

I've used Bar Keeper's Friend powdered cleanser for several years in order to remove stains and heat discoloration from my stainless steel cookware. It also works its magic in keeping my stainless steel sink and fixtures looking bright and new as well. About a year or so ago I picked up the liquid version of Bar Keeper's Friend thinking it just might be easier to use for certain chores where a more controlled application was helpful. As I suspected, this has proven to be the case. When cleaning my cookware, the powder is easily contained to the inside of my pot or pan. But when using it on the sink and fixtures it can be a little messy. The liquid if shaken well can be neatly applied to a sponge and then applied. Sure, it's more expensive than the powder, but I find myself using a smaller, controlled amount of the liquid. Also since I keep both under the sink I find the powder sometimes absorbs moisture and cakes in the container. This isn't a problem with the liquid with the sealed cap of its bottle. **So What's the Magic?** Both the powder and liquid contain Oxalic Acid. There's nothing better to remove rust stains and discoloration from stainless steel. Knives that have mistakenly washed and left in the dishwasher clean right up. Bar Keeper's Friend also contains a mild non-scratching abrasive. When toweling an item dry it raises a nice luster. **Other Uses** I prefer using Bar Keeper's Friend Liquid Cleaner on my ceramic cooktop and granite counters rather than their Cooktop Cleaner and Polish. Although the latter does an excellent job on these surfaces it makes them just a bit too slick for my liking. The liquid cleanser leaves a good sheen but doesn't make the surfaces as slippery. **Caution** As mentioned above,both the powder and liquid contain Oxalic Acid. It's important to keep it away from you eyes. Some might prefer to wear protective gloves, but I find that a thorough washing of my hands after use is sufficient. **My Viewpoint** While I continue to purchase the powder, I find that the liquid formulation of BKF is an ideal complement for certain applications. It's not that Barkeeper's Friend Liquid Cleanser isn't as effective as the powdered cleanser. It is. But costing about double the powdered product and essentially being the same gritty powder not dissolved in water, it isn't worth the cost. I have a lot of iron in my well water and over the years, Bartender's Friend has been a godsend for removing the rust stains on sinks, the bathtub, even glassware. It's amazing how quickly and easily it removes rust stains with little or no scrubbing. It certainly isn't difficult to add a little water to the powder. Like all cleansers, it's a gritty powder and can be harsh so I wouldn't recommend it for non-porcelain sinks and tubs. And like all cleansers, it leaves a difficult to remove powdery residue in the bathtub after cleaning. I thought this liquid version would be a good option for cleaning the tub without leaving that residue. Absolutely not. The powder in the liquid form isn't dissolved and after scrubbing, the same powder is left behind. I see no advantage to the liquid whatsoever. Actually, I feel like I have more control over the amount of powder by using the powdered form. By the way, this is a very harsh cleaner on your skin. I'd suggest using rubber gloves when using it. If you have any problems with rust stains, it's extremely effective. But I'd opt for the much cheaper powdered cleanser.
