I tried the Banquet Salisbury Steak meal and it was pretty good for something cheap to bring in to work. Most frozen meals are highly processed to retain their flavor when reheated, but for some reason, I felt that the Banquet meal was a little more processed than the Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice brands.
For a cheaper option, the Banquet Salisbury Steak meal wasn't bad-tasting. In terms of nutrition, the caloric intake from the Salisbury Steak meal was on par with other similar frozen dinners. The Banquet meal was a bit high in sodium though, at 1080mg--a little over twice the sodium in the Healthy Choice version. You receive a portion of meat, potatoes, and corn with the dinner.
For an inexpensive meal, I'd say Banquetmeals are a bargain; but keeping nutrition in mind, I would recommend you pinch pennies elsewhere like walking more and use the savings in gas money to buy a healthier meal. Or, better yet, prepare your meals ahead of time and bring that food for lunch instead.
