I cannot write a review since I cannot find the world point renewal site.  This needs to be changed.  The bank wants the customer to use the card, but doesn't show anywhere on the billing statement how to redeem points.

The cash and gift certificate rewards came very quickly both times I redeemed points, but the credit card customer service is abysmal, as is their online payment interface. I accidentally typed a comma instead of a period in making a $129.51 payment, and they tried to take $12,159.00 from my checking account. I received very indifferent and even downright hostile customer service for hours when I tried to get this fixed, and was cut off or given incorrect numbers several times, while listening to maddening promotional messages on hold, before finally I yelled enough to be transferred to someone...

At the beginning of last July I tried to redeem 50,000 points for a $500 check. it sais on the BOA website that the check will be mailed within 14 business days. well, here it is almost 5 months later and several useless talks with customer service and still no check. I love that if you’re a day late on a cc payment you get a charge but BOA can just not pay what they owe and there’s really not much the customer can do about it other than stop using there products.

I have been with BoA for a few years after they bought out MBNA. I loved MBNA they gave me an outstanding fixed rate and were very customer friendly. BoA took over things started to make a for the worse. First they changed the amount of time I had to make a payment making it so close that I would have to mail off my payment the day I received the bill or it would be late and heaven forbid that the post office is delayed in delivering your bill because you will not have time to pay by check. I decided to close my BOA accounts because the service provided by their employees and collecting agents is really bad. The worst that I had ever experienced. I was to pay off my credit card balance and they switched me to the supervisor for cnfirmation. The manager/supervisor (Shaun or Sawun) was rude on asking my account reouting and checking numbers. The background noise is really loud on his side. His attitude is bad and I can say he was shouting.

I have had very bad luck with Bank of America's customer service for their credit card and their checking account. I closed the checking account because they never sent me my welcome packet and checks. When I called them about it, they didn't seem to care. They also refused to cancel my account the first time I asked. With their credit card, I had to file a Better Business Bureau complaint on at least 3 separate occassions to get them to perform simple customer service tasks.

World points provides an easy to use online banking system with direct access to your reward points.  They have good redemption prizes that are easy to collect.  My only complaint is I have it set up to alert you to certain things, such as when you are over your limit, or about to hit your limit, and it didn't alert me.

Bank of America is not a good bank to do business with.  From their WorldPoints Platinum Plus Mastercard to their checking and savings accounts.  They pull you in with their 0% offers, but once you are in the  good customer service stops there.  When you email their customer service or do an online chat; they respond with prewritten responses so 9 times out of 10 it doesn't completely answer your question.

When you request a credit limit increase; they may reduce your limit.  It doesn't matter how good a customer you are or how long you  been with them.  I know this from experience.  I...

Bank Of America is not watching the news and not payiny attention to the consumer's needs. They are quick to give you the card & a high spending limit but, they don't like to resolve a dispute that a customer submits. Since there is an epidemic of FRAUD happening, Bank Of America has been a company that doesn't deal with the problem to solve it but continues to make the customer suffer thru the process of correcting  the FRAUD. I really love this card.

I have had amazing customer service with Bank of America. I've never been charged for something that I haven't been informed about and whenever I want to inquire about something, I just use the livechat function after I log in to my account.

The rewards and points are easily attainable unlike some other programs. I am first year out of college, have used this card for about a year and a half now and have already claimed around $500 cashback. I shop online a lot and most sites I go to give me bonus points on my purchases - including Saks, Ralph Lauren, Bloomingdales, orbitz.....

I am a mother of three and my youngest child has autism.  Not that credit card companies care about such matters...

I have been paying them consistently twice a month but they say I have been "late" which makes absolutely no sense.  Apparently it is because I am not paying the minimum balance in full by the date due.  

When I tried to get into the payment plan program, I did not qualify.

Unbelievable...Heartless...Uncaring....Just plain rude...

I love Bank of America's World Points program.  Points are accumulated simply by using the credit card for as many purchases as I want.   Once I've accumulated enough points, I simply call customer service and let them know I want to cash in my points for cash. They respond in a friendly, pleasant manner.  I simply sit back and wait for a check to come in the mail!!
