Bank of America - WorldPoints Platinum Plus MasterCard Review

Bank of America is not a good bank to do business with.  From their WorldPoints Platinum Plus Mastercard to their checking and savings accounts.  They pull you in with their 0% offers, but once you are in the  good customer service stops there.  When you email their customer service or do an online chat; they respond with prewritten responses so 9 times out of 10 it doesn't completely answer your question.

When you request a credit limit increase; they may reduce your limit.  It doesn't matter how good a customer you are or how long you  been with them.  I know this from experience.  I requested a credit line increase and they reduced my limit by about $5000.  When I emailed them about this; they just sent me an empty apology for the inconvenience.  Then to make matters worse; they sent me a set of checks about 2 weeks after they reduced my limit and they listed my credit limit at what my limit was before they reduced it.    Bank of America is not a reliable bank to do business with.  I would not trust them with my money and I definitely would not trust using any of their credit cards.   The one I have I will be getting rid of very soon.  I prefer to do business with people I can trust and Bank of America is not one of them.
