Bank of America - Visa Review

Generally speaking on the use to a Visa credit card offered by BOA. I recently received a phone call from one of the customer service agent with BOA. She inquired about my use of my current Visa with BOA. I  informed her that yes I have the card, but in lue of using it I was not making any purchaseses at this time. She therefore stated that it would be better to cancelled the card. People, listen to me when I say never feel pressured by your bank institution when it come down to your credit. Informed them up front, that the card is applied for in my name, that if I needed to renew the card then that would be fine. However, feel free to informed them that the way the economy is today, that it is your option to charge or not. There are no fees or penalites for not using your credit cards, but there are indeed those penalities and charges when you do. Also, informed them that it is in your best interest to keep your card in case of emergencies, but not in your best interest to use it for frivolous charges to be tag with outrageous interest charges and penalities that you cannot afford.
