Bank of America - Platinum Visa Review

I had been using Bank of America Services for Checking, Investments, Deposit Box, financed a new vehicle, Credit Cards and two (2) Mortgages for about 30 years.  I never exceeded my lines of credit, over spent on my cards, nor missed a mortgage paymentl  My credit score (middle one) is 750 which is, per the Credit Bureau's,  excellent.  I received last week a letter from the said Bank that my interest rate was changing.  I was being charged 5.2% FIXED on my Platinum Visa  Card.  Now they were advising my rate was going to an ARM, which meant 5.25% PLUS 6.50% for a total of 11.75%!  I inquired why my account, since the credit line is $22,000.00USD; and I was sure there were a lot of customers that DID NOT PAY THERE BILLS, PAID LATE, OR FILED BANKRUPTCY.  Specifically how many of these letters had been sent to their "!valued customers"?
How many hundreds or millions?  What is the discrimination here?  The answer:  "Do you wish to cancel your card madame?"  NO!  was my reply;   But will I ever use it?   This was my "security" for an emergency, having a high limit.

There home offie in is Wilmington Delaware.  I called their "HOME" also and got the same script.   

Therefore, BANK OF AMERICA is on my 'short' hate list.

The excellent customer is penalized for the bad customer and paying their way!

So if this has not happened to you yet - watch your mailbox.  Read the fine print.  Call any Bank involved in this piratecy.

Most U.S. Citizens have not created this "crisis"; they are a victim of it!

And the Banks, AIG, "Generous" Motors and such companies are bailed out.
