A necessity for nearly every office or home, is to have a ready supply of bandages available for those cuts or scrapes that are sure to come along eventually. It doesn't matter how careful you are, if you work in an office setting, you are going to get a paper cut every now and then. For me, this is something that happens more than I would like to admit, but I am glad that my work actually provides first aid for when it occurs. They have a nice first aid cabinet where there are a bunch of choices to go with, but I like going with the Band-Aid Clear Adhesive Bandages more often than anything else. What they do is allow you to generally hide the cuts that you have, by providing you with a clear adhesive that isn't as visible as your normal bandages. That doesn't mean that you cannot see them, but you have to be looking pretty closely to do so. So, as long as I am moving constantly, the bandages aren't seen from any type of distance. Don't get me wrong, nobody would really care if I had a bandage on my finger or hand, but it is just another of those "self-aware" types of things.

The Band-Aid brand can be purchased at just about any drug store, as well as grocery stores, and box stores like Walmart and Shopko. The brand is popular enough, that if you know of a place that sells bandages, I will just about guarantee that this is one of the products you will find on the shelves. This particular box of Band-Aid bandages, is sold in a container holding 45 bandages. There are 4 different shapes in the boxes with different measurements. The contents of the bandage are: 17 5/8 in x 2-1/4 inch , 15 - 3/4 in x 3 inches, 8 - 7/8 in x 7/8 inches and 5 - 1 in. x 3 inches. The different sizes enable them to be used on many different sizes and shapes of wounds that you may suffer from. Some of them are for finger tip cuts, while others are intended to cover a larger area. All of the bandages are pictured on the front of the box as well, so if you aren't quite sure of what you are getting, you can take a second look.

The main selling point of these bandages is of course that they are clear in appearance. They are intended to be used as something to hide a wound from the public eye, but at the same time to provide good protection against the elements. You always want to cover up a wound if you are going to be out and about, because you want to keep its chances of getting an infection as low as you can. These bandages prove to work very well in that instance, because they provide you a sterile pad that will go over your scrape or cut. Keeping something sterile means that it is free from live bacteria or other microorganisms, and thus less likely to cause an infection, or put your wound at risk. That pad serves as a soft layer on top of your cut, that will help to protect it from getting bumped against something, and reopening. The adhesive part of the bandage works quite well to stick to your skin, and will stay there for an extended duration. I actually think that the longer you keep these bandages on, the better that the adhesive holds to you. In my experience, they even hold up quite well in water, so don't worry too much about getting them wet when you are washing up.

I would also suggest, that if you are picking up bandages, or you are using ones from around the house, that you also use a product like Neosporin to further increase the chances of your wounds healing well. Putting that on the pads in the Clear adhesives also works quite well. My experiences with this product have all been good ones, and I think that if you are looking for a way to cover up your wounds that won't be unsightly, that the Band-Aid Clear Adhesive Bandages are something you should really think about having around your home or office. These were purchased for $2.99, and I would guess that you can find them just about anywhere right around that price range. So, if you are looking for a product that will help your cuts and scrapes heal quickly, and be hidden from the world at the same time, I highly recommend going with the Clear Band-Aids.

Warning:

The packaging of this product contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions.
