This is a new sunblock from Banana Boat, and I think it's one of the easiest sunblocks to apply that I've ever tried.  Being a Mom, I'm very aware of the harmful effects of being out in the sun.  My children DESPISE having sunblock applied to their skin, and it's always a battle trying to get them to stand still while I put it on them.  The main reason I like Banana Boat Ultra Defense Broad Spectrum Sunblock SPF 50 is because it glides on so easily!  It's the consistently of a lotion, and smooths across skin in a flash, making application time shorter.

Banana Boat Ultra Defense Broad Spectrum Sunblock has a SPF of 50!  That's great protection, and I feel secure knowing that my children are highly protected from the sun's harmful rays.  It is also long lasting and waterproof.  It doesn't just CLAIM that it's long lasting & waterproof, it really is!  We've gone to the beach, and to the pool using Banana Boat Ultra Defense Broad Spectrum Sunblock, and kids have stayed sunburn-free all day long, without me having to reapply it to their skin.

Banana Boat Ultra Defense Broad Spectrum Sunblock is enriched with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, so that it not only protects skin from sunburn and skin damage, it also hydrates it.

This sunblock isn't greasy or oily, and leaves skin feeling refreshed.  It comes out of the tube white, but quickly blends right into skin.  It doesn't have a scent, which may be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on how much you like the smell of sunscreen.  With Banana Boat Ultra Defense Broad Spectrum Sunblock, there is NO SCENT.  You could wear this sunscreen to a baseball game, or a park, and no one would even know you were wearing any.

This new sunscreen by Banana Boat has become my new favorite.  I love that it glides on so easily and that it offers UVA/UVB protection.  It makes application time easier, and my children don't have to wait while I try to rub it into their skin.  It absorbs quickly, and in no time at all the kids are off and running.  I'll take whatever I can to make life easier!

Bottom Line - Banana Boat Ultra Defense Broad Spectrum Sunblock SPF 50 is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.  You will pay for this quality product, though.  You can expect to pay between $ 10.00 - $ 14.00 for a 8 ounce tube of sunblock.  However, because it's so easy to use and offers such a high level of protection, it's worth every penny.

I was in the sun for 3 hours working on a picket fence. 30 minutes before exposure to the sun I applied Banana Boat SPF 50 very heavily. I reapplied it about an hour after being out in the sun. I noticed I was getting red, so I heavily reapplied it again about 30 minutes later, then again about another half hour later. My exposed skin began to sting all over and was getting redder, so at the 3 hour point I went indoors. As is typical with a bad sun burn, even though I was out of the sun after that, my skin continued to get redder and hurt worse as the day progressed. By that evening it was obvious that I had a BAD sun burn, despite heavy, frequent applications of this sun screen. Oh and by the way. No I did not get wet while wearing it. This stuff is as useless as plain ol' hand lotion. If I had put this sunscreen on one of my children and they'd burned as badly as I did, I'd have been infuriated! DON'T BUY THIS USELESS JUNK.

If you can get a child to enjoy the results of sunblock then it must be working ;+) So glad to hear that you are looking out for your sons too.
