My husband is very picky when it comes to the deodorant and antiperspirants he will use. I find this very frustrating at times, but I have found two products he likes, which are Ban Original unscented and Avon On Duty unscented. Ban is generally more expensive unless I can find it on sale, but when I don't have time to get an Avon order in I will pick up Ban Original unscented in our local Walmart or Fred Meyer stores. Ban comes in a lime green plastic container with a roller ball style applicator. It really is unscented, but it does take a while to dry when it is applied. My husband has taken to drying his armpits with my hair dryer after applying this product. The active ingredient is 18% Aluminum Chlorohydrate. Many deodorants and antiperspirants today use some form of aluminum, and while some folks think it is harmful to the body (linking it to Alzheimers), it works. This product has been very effective for my husband and it is one of two products that he asks for by name, and that is making quite a statement!

Ban Original Roll on Antipersperant and deoderant was a favorite of my grandmother. In the later years of her life this was the only deoderant/antipersperant that she chose to use. I tried her Ban one day when I was out of my regular deoderant/antipersperant and I liked it.; So I began using Ban Roll on myself. I found I enjoyed the interesting fragrance free scent. I would sniff the bottle of ban whenever I could. Ban Roll on keeps me dry and odor free. It is also reasonably priced. Ban Roll on does sometimes leave white streaks on my clothes. Ban roll on atipersperant and deoderant original is one of those old school products that continues to have buyers even though there are increasing amounts of new products on the market targeted to a younger generation. Ban Original Antipersperant and deoderant is very efficient in controling odor and inder arm persperation. Ban Roll on just keeps rolling along.

I have tried many US and couple international brands of deodrants and settled on dove. It was quite ok but had a noticeble powdery smell and left white chalky powder streaks on my dark tops. How did I discover ban is important because it tells of the type of people who use it. Saw it at a friend's place, a guy, who is immaculate and well groomed. Asked my hair dresser who wears sleeveless all the time and in the salon is around a lot of heat, blow drying, irons, constantly. Ban unscented is FLAWLESS. It dries immediately, has no scent, and lasts me about 24 hours if I miss showering in the morning. Anyone battling odor issues or wondering what deo to buy, ban unscented is not just for men, it works amazingly for women too!

I use this product on a daily basis. I have found it to be very consistent and reliable. I have no problems with odor or wetness when using this product. I like that it dries quickly, but I do put it on before putting on my shirt and give it some time to dry before getting dressed. It will leave a residue on clothing, but not as bad as a solid and really only if you put on something prior to it being dried. I try very hard to reduce the amount of chemical exposure I have from cosmetics, etc. and based on the Skin Deep database rating of this product it is the one I have chosen to use. I can very often find coupons for this product and it goes on sale regularly and the local chain drug stores so the price is usually very reasonable.

After discovering the skin deep website, I starting looking up all of the products I used on a daily basis and it was quite an eye opener. I cleaned out my cabinets and started over because I want to use products with more natural ingredients. Deoderants was a hard one to research but I was willing to try something new because all of my previous deoderants left my clothes smelling like the deoderant. For anyone looking for a new deoderant to use - this is the one. I have been using Ban Unscented Original Roll-On Antiperspirant and Deoderant for several years now. Every once in a while my wife will bringhome something new for me to try, but I always go back to Ban. It is quite simply the best deoderant out there. Here are the reasons it is great: 1. It is easy to use - a nice, simple roll-on. 2. It is clear - does not get on clothes EVER. 3. It is economical - costs more than some, but certainly within the reasonable range. 4. It comes in a size that lasts for a while. 5. There is absolutely no odor to it. I hate when you can smell someone else's deodrant. It is almost as bad as having B.O. 6. It dries quickly - never feels sticky or slimy under your arm. 7. It washes off completely - it does not leave behind residue that leaves your underarms feeling gross or irritated. 8. It really works! I am a big guy and work hard physically at my job, and I never have pit stains or odor.
