I've been using Ban Deodorant for years, and Sweet Surrender is the best smelling scent of them all. Over the years I've tried pretty much every brand of underarm deodorant, and I find that after using a deodorant for an extended period of time, I start to develop an allergy to it. My underarms get extremely itchy and even blotchy and I have to stop using it. I have never had a problem with Ban Deodorant though. I switched to Ban after using Secret started making my underarms itchy, and I've not had a problem in years. More good things about Ban are that it is a white solid, but goes on clear, and it doesn't leave gloppy residue behind like some brands. I hate when you put on deodorant and it falls off in little balls, but that's not a problem with Ban. The scent is really nice, and not overpowering. It lasts all day too. I put deodorant on in the morning, and I still smell fresh when I turn in for the night. I would definitely recommend Ban Deodorant to any woman!

It all started a few years in the midst of puberty. Each and every student in our elementary school class room was given a disposable shaver and a miniature Old Spice deodorant. I unwittingly used this deodorant until it ran out, not knowing that there was something better out there. I tried *Degree*. I tried *Speed Stick*. How innocent I was. As I grew, I knew I didn't want to pander to the marketing of *Axe*, or the *Xtremeness *of *Right Guard*. I wanted a Deodorant/Anti Perspirant that would both suit my personality and my active lifestyle, something that would keep me smelling fresh in the morning, but not overwhelm the ladies in bed at night. Amid the sea of extreme deodorants, I spotted an unassuming little container on the bottom shelf. "**Ban Invisible Solid Anti Perspirant Deodorant - 24 hours of invisible freshness**" it read, nothing more - nothing less. I don't want flames, guns, explosions, gel, crystals, ice, and crazy chrome swooshes on my deodorant; I simply want an invisible solid that will last 24 hours. There was a problem though. Ban's claim that it lasts 24 hours is not correct. In fact, in my many years of wearing Ban, I discovered that it lasts actually much, much longer. There have been several days that I have gone without bathing, and nobody noticed. I wanted to see just how long this incredible product would last without reapplication and discovered that their slogan should be changed to read "**1 week of invisible freshness**." I suspect that Ban is well aware of it's effectiveness, but also must understand that it is a bad business model to construct a product so great, that it only needs to reapplication once every 168 hours. How often does a product reliably perform exactly how it is intended, at an affordable price with zero disadvantages? Do yourself a favor and settle for nothing less than the best. The chemist wizards at the Ban laboratories have formulated a substance that gives God the middle finger and says **"You constructed us in your own image God. Thanks, but we are going to make one minor change to your design,"** and poof, arm pits no longer smell at all.There is absolutly no reason for any other deodorant to exist. "Reduces underarm perspiration," indeed. Thank you Ban, for improving humanity one armpit at a time. -Robert Ries

I purchased the Ban Invisible Solid antiperspirant/deordorant in Sweet Surrender because I was looking for an inexpensive antiperspirant/deordorant and I had a coupon.  While I found that the scent was really mild and pleasant and the stick did actually go on invisibly clear, the product itself didn't last for very long without reapplying.  I realize that everyone's body is different and that I may perspire more than someone elses, it was while I was sitting around the house watching t.v doing little to no activity at all that I noticed the slightest hint of underarm odor after only a few hours of showering and applying.  Granted, I may be overly paranoid of smelling like body odor but I don't feel comfortable wearing this out in the heat or to wear while engaging in some sort of activity without carrying it in my purse to have handy to reapply.  As an overall opinion of the product, I find that it is average and compares to most other antiperspirant/deordorants as I have not found one to suit my liking or to provide me the protection that I feel that I need.

Recently I spent several months in a country with a tropical climate.  Before going, I was told to bring deodorant beacuse there were "no good ones" sold in the particular country.  I am not a loyal brand follower, but had a couple that I particularly liked.  While I was picking up some last minute supplies, I saw Ban on sale and my mom happened to have a coupon with her (she's a coupon addict!) so we could get it for 50 cents.  I decided to try it out, and boy, am I ever glad I did!  After being there for a couple weeks and having no luck with my usual antiperspirant/deodorants . . . nothing could stand up to the constant heat and humidity!  Never knew this could happen, but some of my deodorant 'went bad' so I had to keep them in the fridge!  I eventually started using Ban, and I will never go back!  I even had my mom send me some more while I was there.  It was the only thing I found to keep me dry and cool all day long.  Occasionally I would reapply half way through the day, but its not needed in the average weather I'm used to.  To top it off, its cheap, has a great smell, and the stick lasts quite a while.  Would highly recommend thsi product to a friend, or anyone!  :)

Ban Sweet Surrender Antiperspirant and Deodorant is our new favorite.  It is an invisible solid stick that goes on clear. You don't get any white clumps or any discoloration on your clothes. We sometimes wear a lot of dark colors and we haven't had any problems with those white streaks you get form other solids.  It keeps you dry for the entire day.  It keeps you cooler and fresher than other solids we have used in the past. It doesn't give you that uncomfortable feeling under your arms.  It even works during heavy exercise or in very hot and humid weather. The smell is very pleasant and is appropriate for both men and women. I have sensitive skin under my arms and it has never given me any irritation even after shaving.  The product comes in a 2.6 ounce package and even with two of us using it daily, it lasts for a long time.  It takes up very little shelf space. It is inexpensive and is often on sale.
