"Hot Dogs, get your hot dogs here." A phrase everyone has heard at least a dozen times at a baseball game. If you've ever been to a baseball game you know that it ain't over until you've has a ball park frank. They became so popular that Sara Lee produced a hot dog bearing the name Ball Park Bun Length Beef Franks.
These great tasting hot dogs are a full bun length approximately six inches long and worth every inch. The flavor holds up to grilling better than any dog I've tried. They're the only one I buy for Grandmaw's Grill Fest!
With the anticipation of Summer I tend to reminisce about my childhood. Ball Park Bun Length Beef Franks remind me of those warm summer nights watching the fireflies, running with sparklers and saying up until 10:00 p.m.; that was late for me. I also remember my dad taking me to my first baseball game at Connie Mack Stadium, formerly Shibe Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Seeing the diamond shaped green field for the first time was like Dorothy opening the door of her tornado relocated home and discovering she wasn't in Kansas anymore! Like Oz the ball field was a magical place, one I'd only seen on our black and white television. I remember the smells; peanuts, popcorn and the ball park hot dogs. The crowd rising to their feet cheering when the players took the field. I was also fortunate to see one of baseball's finest, "Southpaw" Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers, Sandy Koufax pitch before his retiring in 1966. Wow, what great flashback of Americana , but I digress.
Ball Park Bun Length Beef Franks slogan, "Plumb When You Cook 'em" is tried and true. So treat yourself this summer, take the family to a local baseball game and don't forget to ask the hot dog vendor for extra mustard! Ball Park Bun Length Beef Franks in my opinion are a home run!
