I started eating this as part of a good nutrition plan as a snack. Because I also am trying to lose weight I do not eat the whole bar. It is so good that I use it as a pick me up snack around 3 or 4 PM. I also use it as a after dinner treat if I get a craving for something sweet. I have about 1/4 of the bar and it more than satisfies me. It is not sweet at all but yet the peanut butter taste is so wonderful it more than satisfies me. It has 15grams of protein in the whole bar so it also gives you a lift instead of having a sweeter, granola type snack bar. It has helped me a great deal as to watching what I eat and making good choices. I have tried other bars and other flavors of Balance Bars as well but this peanut bar has really satisfied me the most. Learning a new way to eat has been interesting and this product has been an excellent choice for me. I buy them in quantity so I am never out of them. They are there when needed.
