Everything is BIGGER in Texas! These Bakers Secret 6-Cup Texas Muffin Pan is just amazing. When I first bought this Muffin Pan I was so impressed at the size of the cupcakes I made. They were HUGE! Not only does this pan produce huge products, it's easy to clean, and the batter almost never sticks to the pan. Awesome product.

I purchased the Bakers Secret 6-Cup Texas Muffin Pan specifically to make protein peanut butter cups. Let me start out by saying this pan is very sturdy, looks good, and produces adequate size baked goods. I never filled up the individual cups, but it's nice to know I can create bigger baked goods if I have the desire. The depth of each cup is a little over 3 inches and produces a cupcake 2 times the size of a standard cupcake. This pan makes perfect peanut butter cups each time. Sometimes I just fill the pan with batter and place it in the fridge. After a couple of hours I removed the pan and popped out the perfectly shaped peanut butter cups without much resistance. I have also made muffins in the pan and they came out great as well. I have made treats without cupcake liners and there is no sticking to the pan. I clean the pan with warm water and brush. I would definitely recommend the Bakers Secret 6-Cup Texas Muffin Pan.

While spending two months with my daughter after my first granddaugher was born, I got a chance to play around with all of her kitchen tools and gadgets. One of the items she has in her kitchen that I don't have in mine are the Bakers Secret 6 Cup Texas Muffin Pans. When I make muffins I occasionally make them from scratch, but I usually make muffins from a boxed mix such as Betty Crocker or Krusteaz. This muffin pan makes six over sized muffins instead of twelve normal sized muffins, but the pan itself looks like most non-stick varieties although the Bakers Secret has a nice heft to it. The company claims these are made with two ply steel and that they have added rust protection. This is good since I usually let my empty muffin tins sit in the sink and allow them to soak, which often results in the pan accumulating a bit of rust. My daughter has owned these for 5 years and they show no signs of rusting. This product can be washed in the dishwasher but I wash it by hand. Since the cups are large they are much easier to wash than the smaller, standard sized muffin tins. When I made muffins in these pans I was going to bake them for longer than the recipe called for, (since the size was double of a regular muffin). My daughter said she always cooks them for the same amount of time, and I admit I was skeptical. However, I followed her advice and they came out great. Very moist and bursting with flavor. We love muffins in our home, and I generally eat two of the regular size muffins at a meal anyway. I would rather just have one large muffin! I love these tins so much that I am planning on buying some for myself. The tins would also be a nice way to make personalized cupcakes for that someone's special birthday! I love to bake for my family and friends! One year for my birthday, my family bought me some wonderful  new baking supplies. Included in this gift was the Bakers Secret 6-Cup Texas Muffin Pan. My family loves the great big muffins  at our local grocery store's bake shop. So, they thought it would be nice to have some home baked ones. These are nonstick. It may be hard to find paper cupcake liners to fit this size pan. I just lighty coat with cooking spray and the muffins come out very nicely and easily. They cook evenly. They produce muffins that are just the right size! You could also bake rolls in them. I have made little individual casseroles in them too! we have even done deep dish individual pizzas in them also. I think they are an excellent value. I have seen them for sale at all the big department stores and also on the internet. They would make a lovely gift  for the holidays for someone you know who likes to bake. Also, making homemade muffins make a nice gift too!
