Some of the stuff they are saying, happen to me. I pay 925.00 for a science class of 5 credits. I know there grading scale is higher also. Meaning to get a B- I need 94% I thought Bs where in the 80s. Also they say in the program that if you take the class more than once to get the grade you need, depending on which program the class will not count. I have taken A+P 1, 3 times. I have a passing grade for the first time, withdraw from the 2nd when I knew I wasn't getting the B- and this semester I did not get a B- either. Now I can't get into the program even if I repeat the class and do get the B-. I paid 925.00 each class plus books because I switch campus I need different supplies. All of this for nothing, because I am trying to find a college that will take my transfers (43 credits) from Baker but for some reason Baker is not a credited college. They gave me this big dream ideal, because I had brain surgery a few years back, they told me not to give up and they would help me with special needs. What ever I ask for they say no. Example one time I had a teacher offer practice tests online for A+P. Well this semester she is not teaching the class, but others are. And all of them happen to not offer the practice test. Come to find out, all the teacher has to do is turn it on. But it is their choice. So I ask the dean of science to open it up for me and she said it was up to the teacher. Why not offer it every time every class for those who want/need the extras. I wasn't asking anything that I didn't get before from them. Also I am going to a campus that does not have my program, so when going in to talk to them about advice, no one wants to talk to me, or help me. I feel left alone at Baker, no real support. Only words. What I think they mean by this being a good school for parents, older, working full time people, is that the classes lasts 10 weeks. Other than that, I don't think that this is made for older adults even those you see us there.
