Hoover windtunnel bagged Hoover WindTunnel Bagged Upright Vacuum Vacuum
Hoover Anniversary Windtunnel Bagged Upright Vacuum
As a vacuum shop owner, I've tried about all the vacuums out there. I won't sell it if it doesn't work for me. I have 1 dog and 2 cats so a vacuum must work on pet hair. I also have a very messy husband so it has to clean up after him.
I tried the Hoover Anniversary Windtunnel Bagged vacuum and decided to buy one for myself to replace my 7 year-old Eureka Boss bagless. Bagless has become a fad as far as I'm concerned. The dust cups are messy to empty and need emptied with every use.
I missed my old bagged Hoover with no fuss, no muss bag changing. This model has an indicator when the...

Kirby vacuums have been around for more years than I can count back. I remember when my brother was a saleman for Kirby... he was only like 18 years old... now he is in his late forties. My husband and I agreed to have a demonstrator come to our house to show us the Kirby Generation 3 vacuum. That was 16 years ago. We were very impressed and even though at that time our entire house was hardwood floors except one room... we bought it! We had to take out a loan because it was quite expensive, but very well worth it! After 16 years, our Kirby vacuum is still working just as good as it...

I have a red upright bagged dirt devil vacuum. It is the best thing since sliced cheese! I am a mom of 3 under age 4 and really need something like this to keep my house clean. I am using it on a daily basis and it hasnt ever failed me. I bought this from sears and it was less than 50 bucks. It is great for a household on a budget. I have even convinced my husband to now do the cleaning. It has numerous attachments that are on it with the hose and brushes. I detach it and use it to clean the cobwebs and dust around my celing too. It sucks about anything up. My daughter even sucked...

Cons--Pushy Salesman--I purchased the new 2009 model Kirby Sentria a few months ago. The first problem with it was the salesman. Pushy is an understatment. I was home sick from work (with the flu mind you) and even told him that, but it didn't deter him from barging into my home to make a sale. At first he led me to believe that he was selling a carpet cleaning product. Once I finally agreed to let him give a demonstration, he went and got the Kirby Sentria out of the van with the other salesmen and they left, leaving him there alone with me and no way of going. When I realized he was selling...

The Oreck XL Upright vacuum cleaner is simply the best vacuum cleaner on the market today. Why you ask? The list is almost endless. The Oreck has more suction power than anything from Hoover, Bissell, etc. because it is direct suction. This makes it as powerful as a hurricanes winds! The first time you use the Oreck, you will notice a difference on your carpet. Mine looked newer the first time I used it because of how it raises the knap with the powerful bristles. The Oreck is also the most lightweight model out there coming in at a scant 8 pounds. It isn't a workout to vacuum with this model!...

I go through 1-2 vacuums every year. I have 4 children, 3 step-children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. I saw the Garry ad and read the reviews for about a week before I finally decided to get it. It worked great. Very lightweight. I was happy. Then some tiny plastic piece got sucked up and the motor broke. I called them the next day (Monday) as soon as they opened. Since it broke within 90 days of my initial purchase, there was no S&H charge, only the return shipping charge. On Friday I called them back to check on the shipping status. Then said it was on the way, and had been...

I hate vacuums, vacuuming, and all things related. I've gone through countless bagless vacuums and thought everytime I bought one, "Good... I can save money on having to buy bags!" Boy was I wrong. Not only are they less effective, but I ended up getting the dust back in the air by pouring the particles into the trash or the outside trash. Either way, they are close to home and making their way back inside, right?
This vacuum was a lifesaver. It's pretty simple and cheap. I'm convinced that you either buy really expensive machines (like the ones around $1000+), or you buy cheap good ones and just...

I bought the Kirby Diamand G vacuum in hopes that it would clean up my pet's hair and clean up after my one year old son. My hopes were right. It cleans up the dog and cat hair very well. And my son is always dropping crumbs from crackers and dirt from outside and who knows what else onto the carpet and the kirby picks it up effortlessly. The suction on the kirby is wonderful. I vacuumed with my old vacuum first and then used the kirby. The kirby picked up more dirt that the other vacuum left behind. I don't have a problem with this vacuum kicking back out any kind of "dirty air". The hepa filtration...

I have a kirby ultimate g vacuum. Do not get me wrong the vacuum works great as far as picking up the dirt. It keeps my carpets looking great. I had an expensive tri-star when a salesman came to my door showing the kirby. My tri-star worked o.k. for a while then just didn't seem to be good anymore. At the time the salesman was showing me everything and letting me test it out all I could think about was how good it did work. I even tried the cleaning apparatus and it was easy enough. It came with a bunch of attachments, all I could ever need, and it used the hepa filters which was nice as I have...

Before purchasing this vacuum I had a Dirt Devil bagless vacuum that always broke belts and smelled like burned rubber every time I used it. I chose the Bissell Powerforce because it was a great price ($40) and Bissell is a good name brand. I thought the bagless was the way to go before, that being all I had ever had, and was a little discouraged at getting a bagged vacuum for the first time.
I really like the Bissell powerforce and think it does a great job, especially considering how inexpensive it was! The bags are very easy to change and it is all contained without dust flying everywhere....

Kirby Vacuum G 2000 Vacuum
I am ashamed to confess that I was entirely taken in by the demonstration of a door to door salesman and paid $1500.00 for this useless machine. I still can't believe that I allowed myself to be so gullible. I now have a machine that is much too difficult for me to use...the cord is so poorly placed that I tripped over it and almost hit my head on the coffee table....to use the attachments one needs the hand strength of an arm wrestler to dismantle the carpet part and re-attach the part for attachments. Not to mention that after paying all that money, I found it much too hard on my hands...
