Back to Basics Blender Express

Comments about Back to Basics Blender Express:

If you are looking for a small personal blender then the Back to Basics Blender Express will work for you. I have owned and used it for several years with no problems or complaints.

Blending Power
I usually make some type of smoothie with fruit, juice and ice. This blender has no problem blending it. There is a low and high speed along with a pulse speed to give it an extra burst of speed or power.

Versatility
I love that the blender can also be used as the drinking cup! It comes with a lid as well. This makes for less mess and clean up.

Ease of Cleaning
Everything is removable and can easily be hand washed or put in the dishwasher. It all just twist off and on. The blades are easy to clean as well and you can clean under them easily.

Ease of Use
The cup and blades easily twist on. There are three options which makes it easy to use. There is nothing complicated about his blender. You just twist the knob to the spped you want.

Design
The blender is stylish and easy to store. I do wish the drinking cap had a place to snap onto rather than just being loose when I put it in the cabinet. Everything else stays together but the cap can get misplaced.

Durability
The cup is durable and should not break if dropped. Everything is made of plastic but it will all withstand normal wear and tear. I have had it for years and it is still in great condition. Okay this is the end of my review because now I am craving a smoothie!

You Get What You Pay For With the Back To Basics Blender Express

By

Comments about Back to Basics Blender Express:

My family really started to get into making smoothies and in the process killed our 8 year old smoothie maker. Since I wanted something affordable and more individual I purchased two Back to Basics Blender Express blenders. What drew me to them was that the blender portion is actually a tall mug that even has a to-go lid you can put on it after making your smoothie, insert a straw and you're all set. After using it a few times I saw that it could not blend frozen fruit very well, to solve this I pre-made my smoothie the night before with the frozen fruit and then left it in the fridge to semi-thaw overnight and then it would blend very well in the morning. The seal never leaked and I really liked it but unfortunately after two months the motor on one of the blenders blew out and has not worked since. Also, it is very loud and sometimes leaves chunks. If you are really interested in a good smoothie blender I would advise spending some extra money and investing in a different blender.

Back to Basics Blender Express Has a Nice Design

Comments about Back to Basics Blender Express:

My sister bought me this Back to Basics Blender Express in the hopes that my kids would like to eat some frozen treats that I could make. They have multiple food sensitivities, and I'm always looking for some new and different food options. The Back to Basics Blender Express is a blender that has a user friendly design. A large cup with a handle sits upside down and locks onto the base, so if you are blending something that you plan to drink after blending, you don't need to pour it into another cup.

What I like about the Back to Basics Blender Express:

- It has a nice and fairly small design.

- It is easy to use - you have the choice of blending low, high, or pulse.

- It doesn't leak while blending.

What I don't like about the Back to Basics Blender Express:

- I have a hard time getting ice to blend completely - it works better with very small ice cubes, but even those tend to get under the blade at times.

- It can be pretty loud, especially when crushing ice!

**My Viewpoint:**

The Back to Basics Blender Express has a cool design for blending drinks in particular. It is easy to lock on and open and to blend. The main disadvantage of this blender for me is that ice cubes tend to miss the blade, but if you turn the cup upside down and shake a few times and try again, you can often get the ice cubes that were missed.

Blender Express Is Very Versatile

Comments about Back to Basics Blender Express:

We've had our Blender Express for over four years now and it's still working great. It's just the right size for my husband and I to make a smoothie to share. For a healthy dessert we just toss our ingredients in and then enjoy it right out of the "travel mug/blending container". It's nice that it comes with a srew-on lid with a flip-top cap, but we rarely bother to put that on.

I've also used this to puree apple butter, tomatoes and soups and it's worked great for that. It doesn't have a lot of options, only pulse, high, and low, but it's enough to get the job done.

I'm now using this to blend up my homemade baby food. My steamed vegetables puree very nicely in this machine. I just need to add enough fluid in order for it to blend properly.

The 24 oz. size might be too small for families, but has worked great for us. I like that it's dishwasher safe and the plastic is light and easy to carry or even stick in your cup holder in your car. The rubber ring that seals the cup with the cutting head does tend to slip out when being washed. It's a bit of a nuisance to insert, but I can live with that.

Comments about Back to Basics Blender Express:

I got this from my brother in law and I love it! I love making smoothies at home often. i have a regular blender but honestly since he gave me this i use it much more than my regular blender. there are several reasons for this; it is easy to use, it is easy to clean up, and it works well. I have used it for smoothies, milkshakes, soups, to puree, to lightly chop, to mix salad dressings, etc. Its endless! It is very very easy to use and clean up I can not stress that enough. This is worth the buy! it helps in the kitchen a ton with making these convienant! They come in different colors, They have  ones that come with different size attachments as well. I would recommend buying this as a gift for a college student, a friend, a family member, as a wedding gift, or for yourself. You wont regret it. The blades have lasted as well, and trust me I have blended! Shop around there are great prices out for this!
