Amazing Vocal Artist...Despite Everything Else!

I first heard Amy Winehouse through a British friend that owned her debut album "Frank" (which incidently was finally released for sale in the U.S. within the last few months). I immediately fell in love with her musical style and vocals. Her raw, open lyrics hit on both humor and pain in a way that makes the listener appreciate real music...as once was the style of old Blues, Soul, and Jazz artists of the past. Despite the trainwreck that many view Amy Winehouse to currently be, her music opens the eyes to something more powerful...her talent.
