As much as people told me not to pick up my son every time he cried when he was a newborn, I couldn't help but do it. With the thought that these few years and months with him as a baby would be some of the only years he would ever hold still long enough for me to admire him in my arms. I did it with no hesitation. This, like the parents that warned me proposed, of course led to him wanting to be carried often. I don't think human arms are capable of holding anything for as long as a newborn would like to be cradled.

A huge FYI to all parents...If the Baby Bjorn is not adjusted correctly you will indeed experience sore back muscles!
My story started with a try at the wrap-type sling thing. It was pretty confusing and frustrating to say the lest. I then had the brillant idea to research and read through many baby carrier reviews. Long story short, I ended up purchasing a New (not Used) Original Baby Bjorn sling.

This is the perfect way to travel with a newborn. You can strap them on and away you go! The good thing is that they can sleep in the carrier and you can use your hands. In the beginning, while their head is still fragile, they must face inward. Over time, and as their head strengthens, you can face them outward so that they can see the world as you do!
I like that the bijorn is black and simple in style. I am not certain whether or not you can wash it in the washing machine, but spot cleaning and hanging to dry seemed to work perfectly fine for me.

Being a first time mum and a single parent with a small home business to run, meant having to juggle alot of balls in the air. Being Safety conscious without alot of knowledge or experience in baby products I found the prospect of finding a safe child carrier for my son daunting.

I received the Baby Bjorn Original Baby Carrier as a gift while pregnant with my first child. I was so excited because I had heard what a great carrier it was, and I was going to be able to try it out.
When my daughter was born, I realized quickly that she wanted to be held constantly. Within a week she met the weight requirements and I was able to clean house, garden, and grocery shop while she sat contented and cozy in the carrier.

I loved my Baby Bjorn. I wish my daughter was still small enough to fit in it. It made life so much easier.
It was difficult to figure it out the first time we used it but after a little practice it's very easy to use. My daughter loved being in her Baby Bjorn. I used it all the time while gorcery shopping so I didn't have to bring in her carrier car seat and I didn't have to worry about her picking up germs in a shopping carriage.
It's very easy to wash. Just throw in in the washing machine and let it hang to dry.

I am the mother of three children and I used my Baby B'jorn with all of them. I started using the Baby B'jorn when they first came out in 1996 with my daughter (who is now 11). It was about $125 then! It was the only carrier that was easy to use. With other carriers, it was a hassle to get her in and out of it. This was a major pain especially after she just fell asleep and we wanted to put her down! With the Baby B'jorn, we never had a problem with waking her up ever again! Babybjorn Original Baby Carrier was one of the many products we added to our baby registry at Babies R Us. Of course there are some absolute must-haves and we weren't sure if we really needed this type of carrier. Let's just say I'm thrilled someone decided to purchase this for us!
