I LOVE my Baby Bjorn

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I absolutely love my Classic Baby Bjorn.  I got it used from a friend who had used it for all four of her children, and I have used it for two babies so far.  It is durable and very comfortable.  I wear it while going for walks, grocery shopping, and taking my older son out to play.  I love being able to have my baby close to me and still having free hands to be able to get things done.  It is wonderful for grocery shopping because the car seat carrier is not taking up the whole cart leaving no room for groceries.  Walking with my baby in the Bjorn is my favorite way to get exercise after having a baby.  It is very easy to use.  I have never had a prob...

Hands free parenting

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

This is the perfect way to travel with a newborn. You can strap them on and away you go! The good thing is that they can sleep in the carrier and you can use your hands. In the beginning, while their head is still fragile, they must face inward. Over time, and as their head strengthens, you can face them outward so that they can see the world as you do!

I like that the bijorn is black and simple in style. I am not certain whether or not you can wash it in the washing machine, but spot cleaning and hanging to dry seemed to work perfectly fine for me.

The first time I used the bijorn it was a little confusing and it took a few tries to get it comfortable. Once I got the ...

Very Helpful!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This was one of the first things I purchased when our first son was born.   The Bjorn name has a great reputation and their products live up to it.   The carrier is great for small babies; they soon grow out of it and you can switch to a sling product (although be careful of suffocating -remember all those recalls).   This Bjorn carrier is great for your back - really eases back strain.  It is easy to put on once you figure out where all those straps go!   I like to get mine all assembled and then unhook just the front part and slip the baby inside.   It keeps the baby cozy and you can see what he is doing (mainly sleeping!).   It is constructed very w...

I absolutely love my Babybjorn XL Baby Carrier!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

If you have to choose between buying this brand baby carrier and another - don't hesitate to pay for the Babybjorn.  It may cost you more, but it will be well worth it.  I have tried other baby  carriers before I finally got my Babybjorn and had to quit using them because I would get a terrible back ache.

I can literally wear it with my baby in it for hours as I clean my house, make dinner, or shop. We are also on the go quite a bit and always take it with us on vacation.   I have used it hiking and sightseeing many times.  The XL is especially good for taller folks like myself and it enables my husband to wear in comfortably as well.  It is completely washable so you can throw it in the washer any time you need to.    The hardware is quite sturdy and durable as well.

Overall, this is an amazing product that no one else has been able to duplicate effecively.  It is well constructed and worth every penny!

Baby Bjorn Carrier is Comfortable, Durable

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have been using my Baby Bjorn classic carrier through three kids and nine years.  It has held up very well over the years, with no apparent wear other than the blue color fading some from multiple washes.  It washes very easily -- I just toss it in with my regular (dark) load of laundry.  Usually I let it air-dry.  The carrier is easy to put on and use, once you figure out how to get all the straps adjusted properly.  We started using it as soon as my last kid was born (I think she was two weeks old when we put her it).  Even at the smallest setting, her head still needed a bit more support than the carrier provided, but by one month she was fine it in.  ...

Love the babybjorn!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I really do love this little carrier. I got it free from a pregnancy center a couple od years back and I have used it for my son. It is nice because it is small and compact so you can take it with you where ever you go. Plus is is perfect for small newborn babies. I use to make dinner with my son in it when he was a baby, he is now 15 months. I definitely plan on keeping this one for the next one we have. It could even fit in a purse or diaper bag if you needed it to. I used it up until my son was walking at about 10 months old and then he also just got to big to carry around much anymore, plus he wanted to walk around anyway. The only thing is that if you wear it to much it can hurt your back a little bit after awhile. It does fit comfortable though! My son always looked happy when I pulled it out to put him in it. :O) It would make a great gift for a new mom or even a greandma to be. Good luck!

It's the best baby carrier out there

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

In the spirit of full disclosure, I must admit that my children are now 9 and 5, but that doesn't make me love this product any less.  I remember when my son was born.  I wanted a Baby Bjorn, but couldn't afford it.  A dear friend sent me one as a gift.  I will never be able to thank her enough.  That baby bjorn was used constantly, as my son always wanted to be held.  I soon found out that if I strapped him in I could do laundry, wash dishes, vacuum, work on the computer - all of those things that I couldn't do with him in one arm.  He loved it and I loved it.  When his sister was born 3 years later, out came the Baby Bjorn again.  This time, he ...

not my favorite baby carrier

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

I am a mother of 5 and one on the way and I have worn my last 3 babies quit a bit, I say this is not my favorite baby carrier and yet I still have it to let me explain.

I wore baby #3 in the bjorn some, but could never wear him too long as it would cause back pain and we could only face in or out, so no cradle hold and no nursing in the carrier. With baby 4 and 5 I found that ring slings fit our lifestyle much better and I could cradle a sleeping infant or nurse a hungry baby and not have to take them out of the carrier. I also learned about hip development and found that the bjorn didn't supprt proper hip development for baby, like a ring sling or wrap did.

I have kept the bjorn because m...

A great baby carrier

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I bought this for my older brothers first child three years ago and he used it for his first and second child. He passed it on to me this year when I had my first child (that was 10 months ago) and it has been awesome for my wife and I. Both her and I wear it when we have go on walks or to the grocery store. They come in a lot of different colors which is really nice, we got the dark green one (so both of us can wear it and not look ridiculous). It is easy to put to and to take off, even with a kid which is a really big deal for those of you who are reading this and don't have any children, or have never used one of these systems before. These systems are really sturdy, like I said the ...

Baby Bjorn is the best carrier! Look no further!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

The Baby Bjorn carrier is the best baby carrier on the market. I used the carrier with both of my children. We are a very active family. The Baby Bjorn was an essential item when we traveled. We took our boys hiking in the carrier. My boys were both nine pound babies, so I was concerned that I might kill my back with the carrier. I never once had trouble with my back and I used the carrier until my boys legs were so long that I could no longer lift my legs! :) I had an older model carrier that used snaps to hold the carrier together. I was a little concerned that the snaps would not be able to hold my heavy boys, but they never did come undone. I highly recommend the Baby Bjorn. It is a awesome quality product that will last for years to come.

Wonderful! Keeps baby close!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I am a mother of 4 and this is one product I used for all 4 of my children. It was wonderful! My kids were all pretty clingy babies and it worked wonders. I didn't have to worry about smothering them and was able to move around freely while carrying. I am 5'5 and 115 pounds and it did start to hurt my back after a while once my kids got a little bigger. My husband loved using the carrier as well and it worked great for the occasional pro baseball game. He would also use it to carry the baby during walks so we didn't have to push a stroller, or couldn't have a stroller with us. The fabric did seem to get a bit hot, and with the darker colors (ours is the navy) it seemed to make it wors...

Bjorn doesn't last long

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

The Baby Bjorn carrier is very sturdy, being able to be passed down through several children and then some. It crosses along your back making it comfortable when used for small babies. The adjustments are very easy to use. You can put the carrier on then put the baby in and close it around them making it very easy to use. Even easier is being able to do this when taking it off which keeps you from waking a sleeping baby. Baby fits well in this until about 4-6 months.

This carrier is small for the price you pay. It really only comfortably fits a baby until 4-6 months old. But that is about as long as you would want to use it anyway. Once your baby reaches about 15 pounds this carrier really ...

Love my BabyBjorn. It's the best!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Right away when I got pregnant I knew I wanted the BabyBjorn Baby Carrier! I loved it from the start. The best part was being able to have my hands free while trying to get stuff done. It is so comfortable too. One afternoon my little guy fell asleep while in the BabyBjorn and as a new mom I was tired too. Not wanting to disturb my little man I laid down to nap BabyBjorn and all. Two hours later I was well rested and not at all uncomfortable. Now 3 kids later I still love the BabyBjorn. My little guy sits in it letting me hands free to grab my now big guys. Wearing the BabyBjorn I love having my baby close to me and letting him see the world as I do. as a mother I fill that my baby is safe it the BabyBjorn. I fell it is a quality product that is easy to use even my husband can manage it. Not only does it make it esy to manage 2 kids with it but in my case 3 kids. I felt that I had great back support when using it. I fill it is worth the investment.

BabyBjorn - Really great product

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The BabyBjorn is a great structured baby carrier in addition to the wrap around types or for those that don't feel comfortable with the wrap and tie method.

The seat is adjustable for babies comfort and it holds the baby nice and close.  When my daughter was just big enough to be in this we used it with her facing us and a receiving blanket behind her head.  As she got older we used it forward facing exclusively.

Although the straps are padded you do feel a bit of discomfort when your child is a bit heavier (close to 20lbs) and going for longer walks.  Both your back and shoulders definately feel it but having both hands free is worth it.  We stopped using t...
