Great carrier, but can hurt your back once baby gets bigger

I had my son in this carrier starting at 10 weeks old and loved it.  I tried traditional slings but my son never liked them because he wanted to be looking around, not tucked down next to me.  The Baby Bjorn was my savior to keep my son close to me yet allow me to be hands-free either around the house or while out and about.  The only con I have for this is once he got older (and heavier) my back would start to hurt.  If I had to do it over again I'd spend the extra money and get the sport carrier with added back support.
