Babykicks Hemparoo Joey Bunz are absorbant but trim

By

from Los Angeles, CA

Comments about BabyKicks Hemparoo Joey Bunz - Premium Diaper Inserts:

Babkicks makes some awesome products. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are made in China, but they try to hide this fact by labeling their products "made in PRC". But, I still buy and use their stuff because I love their inserts, fitteds, and pocket diapers. They use great materials, including hemp, bamboo, cotton, all natural fibers. The Hemparoo inserts are a combination of hemp and cotton. They are super thin, but long and get great absorbancy after you prep them correctly. You can boil them, but I would not recommend it because mine ended up getting distorted afterwards and warping shapes. I use these to stuff my babykicks hemp fitteds and my pocket diapers. Hemp absorbs well but is slow absorbing. So if you need something faster, pair with a microfiber insert for more protection from leaks.

fantastic absorption

Comments about BabyKicks Hemparoo Joey Bunz - Premium Diaper Inserts:

Adding these hemp inserts into our pocket diapers with a microfiber insert stopped all of our leak issues for good.  The contoured shape makes them fit great into all of our pocket diapers, and the hemp fabric is lightweight and trim while absorbing an amazing amount of liquid.  We were given some second hand, so the ones we have have been used for about 4 consecutive years, and, while the outer most layer has gotten a little shredded with repeated washings, absorbency is great as always.  I would highly recommend these inserts,  The hemp does get a little stiff over time, especially with line-drying, but the great absorbency and extremely trim fit is well worth the slight stiffness.  I also appreciate this company's commitment to using sustainably grown, natural fibers - no chlorine bleach or dyes!  These come in three different sizes, but I only bought the medium size, and they have been plenty big (and absorbent) even now for my toddler.

A great insert for a pocket diaper

By

Comments about BabyKicks Hemparoo Joey Bunz - Premium Diaper Inserts:

Babykicks Hemparoo Joeybunz inserts are a fabulous insert to use with any pocket diaper.  We have FuzziBunz pocket diapers, and the microfiber insert they came with just didn't work very well for my heavy wetting son.  I gave these hemp inserts a try, and they work great. They hold in the pee very well and keep him from leaking.  They are a little expensive, but if you have a heavy wetter then I believe they are worth every penny. The Babykicks Hemparoo Joeybunz inserts can be used with just about any pocket diaper that is made, so they are very versatile.  If you need to add a little bit of extra absorption on top of these, you can layer them with a microfiber towel also.  Because these are hemp, they hold a ton of pee, without adding a lot of extra bulk, and for me, having a trim fitting diaper is one of the major things I look for when choosing a cloth diaper.  I highly recommend these diaper inserts!

Very Absorbant

By

from Renton, WA

Comments about BabyKicks Hemparoo Joey Bunz - Premium Diaper Inserts:

I purchased a couple of Babykicks Hemparoo Joey Bunz Premium inserts to use inside my daughter's Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers.  I was having a hard time gettting enough absorbancy packed into her overnight diapers without them being too bulky.  The Joey Bunz Premium inserts are very thin and extremely absorbant.  They work perfectly for overnight absorbancy when paired with a nice microfiber insert.  My daughter can go about 12 or 13 hours without any leaks.  The only down side for me is that the Joey Bunz inserts are very stiff if air dried instead of being dried in the dryer.  I have to scrunch the inserts after they are dry to try and soften them up, and even then they are pretty stiff and cratchy.  I know that's just hemp in general, and they are nice and soft if dried in the dryer instead.  I would definitely recommend these inserts if you are looking for a nice trim and super absorbant option for your pocket diapers.
