I love baking sweets, and do it so frequently that my husband often has to unload all the goodies for his co-workers who are more than happy to oblige. I am constantly considering buying treat makers, like these but never actually do so because I think for the most part they are a waste. So, last Valentine's Day, less than two weeks after I gave birth to my second child in less a year, my husband came home with the Babycakes Cake Pop Maker. I was pleasantly surprised but also a little bit nervous. I was worried that I would only pull this out once every year or so to make a batch of cake pops for my kids. Also, when would I have time? I was a student and a mother of two! So, you can imagine my surprise when I discovered how easy this cake pop maker is to use! The pops only take three or so minutes to cook and they pop out very easy! They also cook perfectly through! The best thing about the Babycakes Cake Pop Maker is that you can use it for more than just cake pops! I use it once a week to make doughnut balls, cake pops, waffle balls, and cheesecake balls! It cleans very well, and is so easy to use, that my husband who can't cook anything besides toast, can use it without any issues!

I bought the Babycakes cake pop maker for my daughter. When she saw it she thought it was so neat. We first used it when she had a sleepover with friends and all the girls had fun making cake pops. Of course I was the one in charge of actually using the cake pop maker but they had lots of fun decorating the cake pops. The cake pop maker works well and was easy to clean. I would recommend for a cute alternative to regular cake. Kids will love it!

My husband bought me the Babycakes cake pop maker for a Christmas gift last December. I have used it multiple times with very positive results! Everyone loves them! The only problem I ave come across is the sticks...I can't get the balls to stay on them! The ease of cleaning is great! I just wipe the machine off! I just use normal cake mix and then microwave some can frosting to dip them in! Super easy!

I received the Babycakes Cake Pop maker as a gift and was unsure at first if it was a joke. It seemed to be a juvenile gift and I couldn't see myself using it. Instead, I absolutely love this product! It bakes the cake in about three minutes, a dozen at a time. It comes with recipes for perfect cake but I also used boxed cake mix at first. Make sure you only fill the bottom piece to the edge and nothing additional because it rises perfectly. The cake came out moist and perfectly round! There are also recipes for donut holes or pizza and dough appetizers. I love this to easy, bite-size food to serve at parties. I definitely recommend this for an easy way to impress guests with delicious food!

I was skeptical about this little gem, but after using it for a few batches and getting used to the machine and how to fill the trays and how to remove from pan, I think this is a definite keeper. I hated rolling cake and frosting into balls and now I don't have to, I can just whip up a regular batch of cake mix and bake! It comes with great instructions and has lots of great accessories. It also comes with a great cake pop stand which comes in hand instead of trying to figure it out on your own. I did find if you over fill or underfill the tray it does not come out round and looks funny, but trial and error on how to fill correctly helps this a great deal.

I have owned the Babycakes Cake Pop Maker for over a year and it is awesome. My favorite use for it isn't cake pops though. I found very quickly that this machine can be used more often as a doughnut hole maker. The machine does get very hot after prolonged use, so after a couple of dozen dought holes or cakes are made, I unplug it to prevent any overheating. I think that, although it is true you can make cake pops and doughnuts in the oven, if you have room for the Babycakes Cake Pop Maker, it is worth the cost, since it is often on sale, I especially find it to be helpful when I have a need to make dozens and dozens at a time because I am able to just spoon the batter into the machine and close it up and wait for the next round. It's also nice to not have to run the oven in the warmer months of the year.

I purchased one of these to make pop cakes for my kids. My biggest issue is that it becomes extremely hot! The cakes, though, do bake up rather quickly and are adorable. My kids love blueberry muffins popped into this device the best so far. Make sure that you you fill the cups to the top. I find it easiest to use a fork to remove the cakes, overwise I burn my fingers. I would not recommend little kids being around this as it is cooking and also wouldn't recommend planning to bake a huge batch. I would stick with the small packed mixes that are sold at the grocery store. I also wouldn't mess with anything gooey as it will certainly cause a huge mess and my fear would be that something could catch on fire. That's just my take on it all as an extra cautious person.

WOW! Bought this because i saw cake pops at starbucks one morning and was hooked! but wow this thing is fabulous! I would never go into the kitchen to bake but this machine makes it super easy. Literally no mess, cleans nicely, and you can make so many at once! Very easy for any holiday, kids parties, or just a snack! Love the creations with this! would high recommend for anyone out there who loved baked goods! Not to mention one of these cake pops is a great way to savor the sweet tooth without eating an entire slice!

BabyCakes Cake Pop Maker is a time-consuming appliance that does make tasty treats, but it requires patience when using it. After it gets heated up, you must put the proper amount of batter in each cooking hole or else they will be difficult to remove. The batter syringe included with the appliance fell apart immediately. It takes a long time and patience to make more than two dozen treats. Experimenting with cake batter yields great results. My devil's food Babycakes balls were the hit at a party, but it took me two hours to make them. Filling the batter cups takes practice and talent. I would love to have a product that would make two dozen at a time. Overall, I am still happy with this product.
