When my son turned 1.5 years old, I decided to give him potty training.So I bought this seat.First, my son got scared he didn't want to sit on this seat.I decided to give him training and show him many videos on YouTube.Gradually he started sitting on it.It is perfect for my little son and he loves to sit on a narrow seat cushion.It is durable, lightweight and portable.It is a very good thing because that time my son only focus on potty.Even he is a very happy while sitting on this seat.

I purchased this for my granddaughter before she was even a year old and I am so glad I did! It is lightweight and so very easy to clean! Such a simple, effective design. She was introduced to it when she was 11 mos old, just as she started walking. Since she followed us everywhere, I just sat it in the bathroom across from the big potty and immediately she was interested! She just turned 2 and is basically potty trained except for night time .

I like this potty because it is simple and looks nice in our bathroom. Some of the potties out there have so many characters all over it and overall just look so bad. I like this potty because it looks nice and my daughter does not get all distracted when she uses the bathroom, she goes and does what she needs to do. I feel like if it made noises when she went to use the potty she would not transition as well to the regular potty. This potty makes the transition so much smoother. I like how I can travel with this potty since it is small and simple. I bring this potty with me when I am traveling with the baby so we do not always have to use public bathrooms when on vacation. I would recommend this potty to anyone trying to start their children with potty training because overall it should be pretty simple to transition to the regular potty. This comes in all different colors but I really like the plain white one!

My daughter started to express interest in the potty at about seventeen months. We wanted to encourage her but not pressure her, especially since she was so young. We went with the BabyBjorn potty because it was simple and not intimidating. I also really liked that it was easy to transport from room to room so that no matter where we are in the house her potty is never far away. I also like that it is lightweight and compact enough to take in the car when we are going to be on the road. The BabyBjorn potty is super easy to clean. There are no creases and crevices to worry about "anything" getting into. The two solid pieces are easy to clean and the white insert is nice and deep so even when my daughter wants to help me carry it to dump in the big toilet there are no accidents to worry about. This potty is absolutely great in how simple it is to use, transport and clean. And my daughter loves her pink big girl potty!

Our two year old just started potty training (we have seven kids!) and we're pleased with the BabyBjorn Toilet Trainer. If only they had this thing twenty years ago when we needed it for our older kids! What we like about it is the sturdiness. It's not going to slip and slide on the toilet like some of the trainers we see. The narrower seat cushion is perfect for my son's little booty so that he doesn't have to struggle to hold himself up on the real toilet. I'd recommend it to anyone with young kids!

This potty has such a simple design that I like. It is so easy to clean and keep clean. It can easily be moved from room to room by my toddler, which I like since she often wants to be near me and I can't always move it for her. It is so affordable, which was a main factor in me choosing this one. I like that it is stable, so it is very unlikely to tip over, and it has a bit of a grip on the bottom so it can't slide around easily.

I'm one of the elimination communication nuts. I wanted to try it when my daughter was born for her own comfort, and probably wouldn't have survived without this potty. It makes sense a baby doesn't want to sit in their own pee and poo, right? Well, the baby bjorn chair with the high back has been my greatest tool. From 1 month old, I would sit her on it and she goes potty. It saves you from having to hold her up the whole time, and it's convenient to place anywhere in the house. Of course, I would never leave her unattended or unsupported on it. Since 5-6 months she never poops her pants (always on the potty, even if she has to hold it) and at 9 months we only have maybe 1 miss in a day (she always wets herself at night). I take the chair with me when we go out (on the road just pull over and sit her on it, at someone's house). We even brought it when we traveled out of the country.

I have used multiple different brands of training potties while helping potty train the children that I have cared for, and have found that as far as basic training potties go the Baby Bjorn Smart Potty is the best. It is versatile for both boys and girls, and is a good value for the money. My favorite two things about the Baby Bjorn Smart Potty is that it doesn't take up too much room like some of the other brands do, which is a big plus when potty training multiple children, or if you have a smaller bathroom. My other favorite thing about it is the fact that it is easy to clean. The part that catches the waste lifts out and is easily dumped and cleaned. While some people feel that the potties that make noise or have little things to entertain the kids on them are more appealing I have found that the basic-ness of the Baby Bjorn Smart Potty is better for potty training little ones, especially those that get distracted easily.

We ordered this for my daughter when she started to potty train at the age of 2. We had previously ordered a couple of other ones similar to the Bjorn model, however, those did not work as efficiently as the bjorn brand. I like the sleek design of the Bjorn. Our toilet is oval shape and this was a concern for me, as the previous ones that I had purchased rocked around the seat and did not stay put. We have had no problems with this model. Also, it fits my daughter perfectly. My only qualm about the Bjorn is that it doesn't come with a potty seat hook like some potty seats have. It has the attachment on the seat itself, where do you hook it onto? It is easy to clean and is very durable. The cost is a bit pricier than other ones, however, why waste your money on something that you will have to toss anyway because it doesn't work? I would recommend this seat to anyone who is potty training on the toilet.
